The easiest way to figure it out would be to ask yourself one question: Of the two options, which bones the wizard and cleric the least. In my opinion giving them the ritual and/or spellbook for free is the obvious answer to that, especially since the wizard can’t use his utility or daily powers...

I’m sure that if you were going to design a war gondola to attach to it, you would find some way to strap it securely to the disk. Decently strong belts in an X-shape come to mind. Your only real problem at that point is worrying about dispel effects and fitting it through doors.

Compared to the feats in 3e, to me the 4e feats all feel like iron will.

Small nitpick: There are no shovels in the PHB. (And since it’s not in the PHB, I can’t buy one in the general store in KotS)

Does the dragonborn’s breath count into that, or is it separate? The way I'm reading it the racial powers are seperate from the other "known" powers.
