D&D 5E The Guides have not been updated with the SCAG.

I'd love to see a new updated grapple guide. New classes, races, rules clarifications, and spells have come out since the last one was made.

D&D 5E Oathbreaker Paladin + Undying Light Warlock + Draconic Sorc

You don't need strength to wear heavy armor. But, if you don't want to have reduced speed, you need either 15 strength or to be a dwarf. You do need 13 strength if you want to MC paladin, though.

    D&D 5E Optomized wizard help

What Mello said. Animate is a powerhouse. The tiny objects offer great damage output, and can really block your enemies, unless they want to eat a ton of opportunity attacks. If there is a large or huge object around it can also be useful for blocking a hallway or something, but its more...

    D&D 5E Optomized wizard help

Wizard is a great choice for this party, and doesnt have great multiclassing options, other than maybe a 2 level dip at some point. You can't really be a buffbot because of the concentration requirements. Diviner, Conjurer, and Necromancer are all great choices. Conjurer really wont come...

D&D 5E Oathbreaker Paladin + Undying Light Warlock + Draconic Sorc

Well the OP started off by talking about undying light warlock and oathbreaker, one from UA and the other from DMG. I'm just saying you can throw shillelagh on top of that if you want and avoid the need for any STR at all.

D&D 5E Oathbreaker Paladin + Undying Light Warlock + Draconic Sorc

Why not both? Undying Light Tomelock with GFB and shillelagh? GFB does scaling damage with x2 cha right off the bat.

D&D 5E Oathbreaker Paladin + Undying Light Warlock + Draconic Sorc

Mechanically, it looks really solid. I would probably take inspiring leader over heavy armor master. However, Oathbreaker + Undying light warlock would be a hard sell if your DM cares at all about the class lore.

D&D 5E Optimizing Favored Soul Sorcerer

Yea, I also like Pali 2 / Favored Soul X. Pali 6 gets you that tasty +cha to all saves, though, and if you are an oath-breaker Pali 7 gets you + cha to attacks. I think either one works well.

    D&D 5E Powergaming a Barbarian 5

I don't think barb is that lackluster after 5. More rages, more rage damage along with some great features like feral instinct and brutal critical. But really any sensible mix of the 3 classes you listed will work well mechanically. I would do whatever sounds the most fun to you. You could...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Arrive on Time - A General Guide to Wizardry

I'm pretty unequipped to talk about viable tank strategies so I will take your word for it lol.

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Arrive on Time - A General Guide to Wizardry

I can speak from experience, fairy fire + horde of skeletons = massacre.

D&D 5E Optimizing Favored Soul Sorcerer

Yeah, warlock 2 / sorc 18 is probably the best build for this strategy. FS or draconic, either will work, but FS probably edges Draconic IMO for just the spell list. As an aside, I expect favored soul will be nerfed when the official version comes out. I expect they will remove the extra...

D&D 5E Optimizing Favored Soul Sorcerer

At level 11 Eldritch blast -> quicken -> Eldritch Blast becomes insane. 6d10+6xcha. Throw on Hex for another 6d6 and you are looking at one of the best damage options in the game.

D&D 5E Optimizing Favored Soul Sorcerer

Storm doesn't give you free spells anymore as of SCAG. I know it seems sub-optimal because you get armor and extra attack from pali anyway, but i think spiritual weapon is just that good. Its a bonus-action cast, no concentration required, every round repeating 1d8+cha. Obviously you have...

D&D 5E Optimizing Favored Soul Sorcerer

Doesn't have to be, but the features make it possible and 2x attack + quick spells makes it attractive. You can also ignore your extra attack feature (or use a bow) and just hang back and enjoy the extra spell list and better armor.

    D&D 5E Command + Warcaster + Booming blade = 8d8+str?

yea. I don't see why it wouldn't work, unless your DM decides that fear or command is not "willingly moving"

D&D 5E Optimizing Favored Soul Sorcerer

Take a look at fighter 2 / Pali 6 / Favored Soul 12 Lots of smites, +cha to all saves, start fighter for con saves, quick spells, spiritual weapon when you run out of metamagic, twin haste, heavy armor, action surge, gets you level 6 sorc spells with a top level slot of 8.

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Arrive on Time - A General Guide to Wizardry

Looks good. To be honest, warcaster is probably not that big of a deal. You can free action stow / grab a weapon, so it really only gets in the way of your reaction spells.
