Monster Manual: I miss the fluff.

I too miss the fluff from the Monster Manual. I got into D&D by way of the 2ed Edition Monster Manual, and I collected the various monstrous compendiums above all else. They were (and still are) pretty fun to read. 4th Ed seems to have even less fluff than the 3ed Edition books, but I guess that...

    Monster names?

I find most of 4th Edition's verbnoun/nounverb monster names irritating.

I also have the books [merged] (info on upcomming Power sources and more)

I suppose not. Not sure where else to mention it though. :(

Eladrins, Tieflings, Dragonborn Too Far Outside Standard Fantasy?

Wyrmlings and very young dragons are also killable in your first few levels. Hell, the white dragon wyrmling was CR 2.

I also have the books [merged] (info on upcomming Power sources and more)

Because there doesn't seem to be a good reason why they made the previously intelligent, good-aligned, magic-imbued symbols of hope and rebirth into dumb giant birds on fire?

I also have the books [merged] (info on upcomming Power sources and more)

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but: The fact that phoenixes are now unintelligent, fiery cousins of rocs is stupid.

The Travesty! The Horror! Male Medusae.

People like you are the reason they took out half-orcs. :(

The Travesty! The Horror! Male Medusae.

Male medusae were around in 2ed Edition. They were bald but could petrify an enemy when punching them.

    D&D 4E 4E Forgotten Realms Hopes/Fears ?

Cattie-Brie and Wulfgar are both humans, so by the time 4th Edition FR takes place, they should be dead. Brunor is getting on in years, and may very well be dead. Three out of four dead. Just as planned.

    The Bard and Bard Colleges

I had a bard that was an adventuring professor who used Perform: Oratory to lecture his allies. Me: "And here we have Homo Bos Atroxis, also known as the minotaur. Note the size and shape of the horns, a unique shape found only in the minotaurs of this area..." Party: "This really isn't worth...

James Wyatt hints at 5 new races in PHB2

I am hoping the G stands for Goliath. I love the Giths (both zeri and yanki), but I really want to see the Goliaths get a 4th Edition write-up. I thought they were the best race that was introduced in the Races of ____ books. Mind you, the competition wasn't that fierce, given the boring other...

D&D 4E Weird & Wacky Stuff You Want in 4e

I am looking forward to making a grippli bard whose hobby is introducing people to new things they have never seen before and would be amazed to know that they exist. He shall call it Grippli's Believe It Or Not.

    New Monster Swordwing!

I am with most of the posters here: These strike me as somewhat boring and uninspired. I do kind of like the fact that they like collecting things though, so if I do use them in a campaign, they're going to seven foot tall, insectoid, blade-armed nerds. Swordwing: Here you go, boss, a...

Female Dragonborn - No longer have breasts?

No one should think of the scalies, as they can yiff in hell. Dragonborn with big honking lizardtits is stupid. Especially given that dragons themselves don't actually have them. You can say "But look at the platypus!" all you want; they don't actually have teats either. They release milk...

    D&D 4E Sooo... 4e Video Games?

There has been one out for a while. It's called World of Warcraft and it seems to be pretty popular. I'm not sure why the tieflings are blue in it, though.
