I'm looking for a game that's stat-less. I want it to run a "you're you, but you got sucked into a fantasy world" type game, and I don't want the pain of deciding what people's stats are, and I want it to be a surprise, so I can't just have them make themselves as characters in whatever system...

You know, Dune is one of my favorite SF books. In it, there are cheap, widespread personal shield generaters that stop fast-moving things, but if you're good, you can slip something in slowly. Also, they exploded if struck by a laser (there were no other energy weapons). Huge explosion, that is...
