Just updating the thread to let the world know I'm fresh out of unclaimed Tombs of Horror. Thanks, everybody. (And congratulations to Festivus, Puggins, and Korgoth, I suppose. :))

My gut tells me "Graveborn" is another name for Revenants (a DDI-only PC race) but obviously - my gut is far from an official source for anything of any kind of value whatsoever.

Since I've already got some GameScience dice, let me suggest that some of the other people who are looking to unload excess copies of ToH work out a deal with Korgoth. They're sweet dice. Very honest roll distribution (no "my d20 sure seems to come up on 3 WAY too often"-type situations).

Amen to that. It's streamlined, functional, non-cluttered, and has whitespace. My eyes loves them some whitespace.

As it's been stated above - it's not 1 surge value of HP, it's 1/2 surge value in HP. So, if your surge value is 6 at first level, you'd be losing 3 HP, if your surge value was 5, it would be 2, etc.

In situations where a PC dies...I just can't help but feel that the player needs to suck it up. If adventuring were easy, and guaranteed to make you wealthy before making you dead, everyone would be an adventurer. That being said - I don't think Incendax used any unfair or dirty tactics...

This interests me as well, as I'll be starting my monthly game's Dark Sun campaign in an arena where all the slave-bound PCs will be competing for the same prize, with a few NPCs thrown into the mix to keep things really interesting.

They wouldn't laugh, because they'd be too busy trying to wipe the dollar signs out of their field of vision. Think of metal armor as a luxury piece - something you'd display (if you're wealthy and powerful enough to do so) to show others - "Look what I have. Yeah." You'd never wear it, but...
