My players caught the bells hint immediately, which surprised me.

The blue and gold refers to the colors of the alliance army. To kill the leaders of the alliance, the killers would enter the tent, which has bells at the entrance, so bells will ring when someone enters or leaves the command tent.

They are pretty much the same I guess :) From session to session he is almost able to perform a complete mindwipe of what happened last time (despite being the one keeping the journal). After the recaps he is up to speed again and 100% able to remember things again. Quite impressive actually.

That could make sense, and it could make for some funny scenes, if he still made som contacts that he knew in a previous incarnation. Either they could recognize him (if he physically looks the same - I wonder do they still look the same?) or he could remember them as some of his vague...
