    Yep. For real. Maximized Meteor Swarm one-rounded the BBEG in a tier 4 AL Epic adventure, and that doesn't even strike me as an even that noteworthy. In the T4 AL Epics I've run, I swear the median table is "4 mages and a paladin to fix their saves"

    :ROFLMAO: 1500gp for "a not-concentration non-disruptable haste that also gives you a 2nd point to cast spells from and duplicates all your spell slots except for one" is a GOOD SPELL. I'm biased here from high-level AL play, but 1500gp at the level in question doesn't seem like that much.

    Yep, except it also lets you "teleport" to places you don't know about except via directions/"map marker", and teleport/tree stride/etc don't. Outside of the travel element, it's an overleveled/underspecified/fast-talk-required gaseous form.

    Wind Walk at level 6 checks out for me. Movement speed of 300, and flavor text to make an easy fast-talk-the-DM roll for effective invisibility. (whispy clouds). I'd roll the full benefits of gaseous form explicitly into it (squeezing/etc), and keep it at 6th. That speed of movement/overland...

    and I'll point out, even applying to everything it was still often a trap after about 5th level. It was a quick&dirty "Ok, I need to be able to pretend to contribute in combat. Lemme spend 2 levels on that, and then never think of it again" tactic, not something actually good.

    But if I can't translate my character(s) at all usefully ... (and I can't). The 3e warlock style was "EB all the things in combat, and do infinite-low-level-utility-magic for out-of-combat lols". The 4e warlock style was "EB some of the things, but you get powers just like everyone else...

    5e Warlocks exist as full-casters-with-weird-slots, and should remain so in a game that claims compatibility with 5e. A hypothetical 6e Warlock could be any of the suggested items. But a 5e-family warlock ... I don't like this change.

    At the cafe I play at weekly, I'd guess 1/2 the players buy a coffee or something. I don't think the cafe gives any money out (ie: no supporting the DMs or buying adventures)... but we're moderately loud and take up space for 4 hours... but I'm guessing this is at an hour where the "loud" part...

    I don't like "attacking on Cha" very much. The MAD aspect is, IMHO, important to the flavor of the class. I personally think Extra Attack should just be a 5th level rider on the Pact-of-the-blade feature. That should not cost an invocation ... nor do I understand why it's pushed out to 6 for...

    Re: "change the encounter and this guy is neutered". Yeah, higher-ac enemies mean you have to turn off GWM. But those typically have fewer HP, and since you have to have a certain accuracy focus to suck up the -5 anyway, you're not hurt that much. Non-melee enemies really hurt, but they hurt...

    (and that's exactly my point. At level 1, they feel like damage dealers. At level 6, they're ... not. If you think you're the damage dealer, you'll be in for a shock if someone else shows up with an actual damage dealer)
