    Generic Room Descriptions?

Wycen, not sure, but I did just order it. I have heard good things about, and the fact that it has tables for everything is cool. I think you could radomize the contents.

    30th level at 21

I like the DM mandate of downtime idea..... Though it is not going to work for my group right now, as I started running WLD, and they are going to be day to day delving for the next two years of game time and real time. If they live they will probably be 20th level by the time they hit 20.

World's Largest Dungeon in actual play [Spoilers!]

This worked out for my party, though it was tough going and could have ended badly for them. They hit Longtail at 2nd Level, as a party of seven with about 60% of total resources. The only thing that save their skins was the use of the Quall's Whip Feather Token. They had a lot of fun trying...

Would your group stop a woman from joining?

In this game, I'm surprised that there was not a Gerbil.

    Sound Tracks

I once based a campaign on the lyrics of Black Sabbath, and had planned to use cuts out of these songs at certain stages in the game. The plot points of the game were planned out, but minor details were to be filled in as we went. The downside was that we never finished the game, and took a...

    Which settings are worth looting?

One non-D20, pre-3rd ed setting that is worth looting is Thieve's World. Old but good.

World's Largest Dungeon in actual play [Spoilers!]

A to B or A to E Question to the DMs of WLD out there. Which way did your party go, from A to B or from A to E? Did you allow the group to pick there own way, or did you control it. However the choice was made, has it turned out ok, or do you wish you went the other way?

    Getting Characters Together

This is the approach that I am using right now with WLD. It seems to be working fairly well so far. CZHorse

    Getting Characters Together

Here is one that I used in the past, and it works to tie the characters together for campaign goals. Each of them is born with a strange birthmark, and it means something in the overall plot of the campaign, but no one seems to know anything. Have each of the character learn of the meaning...

    Dungeoneers Survival guide 3.5?

Scott, there is a D20 equivelent on the market, but I can not think of the name of it. I have not had a chance to look over it, but I did see in in passing a few weeks ago. If I stubble across the Name of it again, I'll post it. CZHorse

    Coward in our midst

Yeah, I love those who play alignments like Lawful Wuss or Chaotic Stupid. They are so much fun to toy with. Stand up and play the character you picked, and give the coward a faithful berating or open a holy can-of -whoop-ass on him. CZHorse

Riddle Rooms (Cloud Kingdom Games): Any good???

I have a few of their books, and have found them useful. They have been around for a long while, and you can pick and chose as to the riddles that you what to use. A good thing to do is to go to their webpage and sign up for the riddle of the week. It does not cost anything, and it gives you...

    Coward in our midst

Even if you are a Palidin, you can still confront him, and you should even if nobody else backs you up. A Palidin has the the backing of his faith. Drive him out of the party by confronting him, and if everybody take his side then retire the palidin, as one would refuse to adventure with this...

World's Largest Dungeon in actual play [Spoilers!]

I don't know if you should stop the use of it, as it is a good use of the spell. I once had a group that did something very similar with the Mystic in a 2nd Ed game. It does let them get past some things, and gives them a way to map out an area. However, they really can not search for details...

A night below or Temple of elemental evil

Night gets another vote. We played it in 2ed, and loved it. The Shadow Dragon rocks. ToEE, although it is a clasic is too much of a crawl, and if you are already playing WLD then you've got your hands full.

What (type of) Book Would You Spend $100 On?

I think that I'll have to agree with Frukathka on this one, as I have every Dungeon from issue 1, and have read each and everyone - great magazine. However, all 80 or so pre-3.0 need to be reprinted for play with post-3.0 rules. That would rank high on my list.

World's Largest Dungeon in actual play [Spoilers!]

How much of A are you going to replace, and what does the final encounter list look like? My group is all basically begining players, and I don't need to worry about them having killed hundreds of these creatures in past adventures. The region as written will work for us, but my players will...

What (type of) Book Would You Spend $100 On?

I agree with Twofalls. I think WLD was well worth the money. It sound like many of you have not been in a college bookstore in a while, where a book that is going to last you a quarter runs about $130 in some cases. The way most groups play, try two years of gaming with WLD, and that's for...
