How many Dragon Magazine articles do you normally read each month on average?

The only parts of the magazine that I do NOT read regularly, are Under Command and Sage Advice. I do not enjoy Class Acts, but I do read them for the few gems they contain.

    Campaign Settings poll XLII

I am currently running a World of Darkness chronicle :) I am planning to run the Greyhawk Istivin campaign arc from Dungeon and I am preparing a couple homebrew settings and a campaign on Highpoint (DragonMech) for future d20 play. For future WoD play I am planning a Vampire: the Requiem...

[Ronin Arts] Planar Factions now available! (Updated)

That was what I hoped for :) I'll have to buy this PDF now. The other organisations sound cool too and filled with great roleplaying opportunities!

[Ronin Arts] Planar Factions now available! (Updated)

I have a short question on The Steadfast Order of the Shapers of Earthen Splendors: What techlevel are they and can they be easily modelled in a Victorian style? I was thinking of making them a Victorian age secret society, who travel the planes in their quest for understanding the multiverse...

Strangest (or the most funny) deaths

Back in the days of 2nd Ed. AD&D I lost a halfling thief. We had entered a dungeon on the behest of a wizard and I quickly discovered it was not my halfling's day. Shortly after entering we found a pittrap with a revolving lid, when (as far as I can remember) the fighter fell in. Well we...

    Wizards - online survey problems

I think there are a few things that speaks against this being an official WotC poll. First it is not a wizards adress (the previous ones were, as far as I can remember), the grafic header is not up to the normal quality from WotC and even if it is a demographics survay, they could just stick...

    Wizards - online survey problems

It does not look like is was created by Wizards. I think someone has hacked their page anbd made a link to this questionary... I cannot be sure, but it looks very suspecious! I'll advise against using it...

What would you like to see WotC publish next?

I would like to see some more books in the Campaign Options line. Specifically revisions of Arabian Adventures, Dark Sun and Planescape. It is not likely to happen though :( It could also be nice to see a renaissance or later setting. Either based on Europe or the new world. I would also like...

Recommend a traveller game (with apologies for reviving a dead horse)

Traveller I would recommend Traveller 2300, mainly because of the setting. I have not read the systems yet (I have MegaTraveller, Twilight 2000, Traveller 2300 and T4. Got them cheap at DriveThrough), but there are others who are better at that than me :-)

Ask me about Egyptian Adventures: Hamunaptra

How much influence is there on Hamunaptra from the Cthulhu mythos? I have been a fan of Lovecraft and his writings for years and is often inspired by Wierd Tales.

    Miniatures for your Game

Personally I would like to see more prepainted miniatures. I really do not have the time to sit down and paint alot of miniatures. I do not like the way WotC have done it, however, since I have to buy 10 box's to get maybe one of the figures I need. The miniatures from Holistic Design looks...

    Buying Steam

I am considering buying a new book next month, but I do not know wich one to choose. Do any of you have comments to the following titles? DragonMech Iron Kingdoms Character Guide Steampunk OGL I already have Sorcery and steam, but I am a little disapointed by the book and some of the errors...

Poll: Historical Kit & realistic rules

The boomerang can easily have been used throughout Europe, but the finds that I am familiar with, are all Danish and are not boomerangs. The Magdeburg artefact does bear resemblance to the danish finds, but if it is a harpoon, I would think that it has been wrongly dated (14C dating can be very...

Dragons of Editions Past: Anyone ever use them?

I very rarely use dragons in my campaigns, and the few times I have used them, it has been for flavor. I might use the Mercury, Mist or Steel dragon in the future, as they have always been favorites of mine. Most likely, though, I will not use any dragons, exept, perhaps, for a one-shot game.

Poll: Historical Kit & realistic rules

The boomerangs found in Scandinavia are not boomerangs at all. It has been proven, both through archaological finds and through ethnological studies, that they are a part of a thrusting harpoon. Just like the harpoons that eskimoes use (at least in Greenland, but I think that their use is...

Poll: Historical Kit & realistic rules

The Nordic Bronze age was very unique in many ways, including the production of flint tools and weapons. The huge amount of rockcarving, with a very discernable mythology is also one of our trademarks. And yes, our late neolithic flint knives are some of the most beautifull in the world. I have...

Poll: Historical Kit & realistic rules

I am very intrigued by this and would very much like to see this in print or as an electronic product. The feats seems to fit real dueling and fencing and even adds a bit cinematic swashbuckling feel. They are quite powerful, but they do have alot of prerequisites and seems specialised and...

    d6 the future of d20?

I think it is a great system, but not without its faults. It is a easily learned, skillbased and loads of fun! My main problem, however, was with the way it handles damage resolution. Quite often I had a situation where the PC had more dice to soak an attack, than I had damage dice. I also had...

    Dungeon 114 Cover

Hmm... I must admit that I do not like the new logo. It is too retro for my tastes and does not invoke a feeling of the fantasy product it is. I still lament over the fact that Polyhedron was dropped, because it was the major incentive for be to buy the magazine. I do not need short adventures...
