    Can you do a "diamond" shaped blast?

    In terms of whether the rules as written allow diamond shaped blast areas, I think they do not. The actual definition in the rules is: "A burst starts in an origin square and extends in all directions to a specified number of squares from the origin square." If you follow these instructions...

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    Hehe yeah I've read that now. Can I say "Can of Worms"? ;)

    No, but there's Wall of course.

    Attack from two squares away

    Suppose you were using that house-rule where you can charge over only one square, without getting the +1 attack bonus. When would you ever use that? It would always be the same or better to shift one square and attack. If you shift, you don't provoke OAs, unlike charging. I'm struggling to...

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    That's yet another interpretation. :) Some people say you can make the attack while hidden (opponent is unaware of you) and gain the benefits of combat advantage without having to make another stealth roll for the attack itself. This is why it would be good for Wizards to provide some...

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    By "hiding" I meant "Making a stealth check to hide". It seems a bit quicker to say that. :) See for example page 183 of PHB: "Create a Diversion to Hide".

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    Since "Drop Prone" is a minor action, I'd be inclined to rule that hiding should be at minimum a minor action.

    Ok, that seems clear enough now. Thanks, all. :D

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    Ok, so the rule is: "You do not gain Combat Advantage" from stealth unless the target has not seen you in the square from which you are making your attack." How does that sound? Also, the RAW says "If you later attack or shout, you’re no longer hidden" so it seems that you lose CA as soon as...

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    Well if that was the case, I COULD do the following: * Move (unstealthily) to a spot with cover. * Stealth (by crouching, while doing some random minor action). * Attack with combat advantage. But is this really right?

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    It's a bit weird - because if you apply that same argument to moving, then you would say that you managed to move stealthily, but that applies only to the movement. After you have finished moving, you are no longer stealthed, since it only applied to the move. This is clearly not the case...

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    Hmm yes, but the rules state: ""Stealth: Part of whatever action you are trying to perform stealthily". So, the action I'm trying to perform stealthily is dropping a very small pebble on the ground. This is a minor action. If I succeed, I'm stealthed!

    Can you move->stealth->attack>

    Are you allowed to do the following: * Use a Move Action to move more than 2 squares to an area with cover adjacent to an enemy target. * Use a Minor Action to hide against that enemy target. * Use a Standard Action to attack that enemy target, and you have combat advantage. The rule in the...

    Sacrificial Bunnies (Warlock curse question)

    I suppose the DMs who are little more than a set of heuristics need some exact guidance... How about this for them: "Creatures that yield XPs less than 1/50th of the amount of XPs required to traverse the character's current level do not count as a credible threat."
