    You didn't make a mistake: In every book, the even pages are on the left side, and the odd pages on the right side. I don't know why, but in Basic Rules the pages are "inverted". Hmmm... Check that picture! Wild Magic Surges... I like that!

    When switching the dice rolls from the NPC to the PC, the base number becomes 22 - (PC base number) This way, the probabilities on the dice stay exactly the same.
