Sounds really cool to me. And I hope to God that templates are dead, dead, dead. What a bunch of crap. I want a ready to play monster, not something that I have to write out myself by applying a stupid frigging template to a completely different monster.

I have the original. It's really good. However, I don't use the gun rules, as they complicate the game unnecessarily.

I vote for Keep. I love that setting.

My LGS still has 2e books on the shelf. At 20% off, though.

I would buy an average print supplement before spending a penny on an "amazing" pdf.

The class design rules from 2e. Only took a page. And worked great. Domain and keep rules. Birthright and Planescape campaign settings. (One can dream).

I own it, but don't run it. I'd love to find a group that would play in it. Everyone I know will only play FR or Eberron. :confused:

They're an improvement over the 3e covers. But I really wish WotC would hire someone other than Reynolds to do art. I really think Angus McBride, John Howe, or Alan Lee would do a much better job. And if any rpg company can afford them, it's WotC.

Tehre was an adventure featuring the Doomgrinder in the early 90's. It was basically a mobile tower that destroyed anything in it's path.

Great news!!! And a suggestion on the frost giant, if things are going the way I think they are, make them a giant with actual cool frost/ice powers.

In general, I like what I hear. However, there are definately some things that WotC is doing that I really don't care for.

Buy the MM1. Make a list of all the missing iconic/non-trademark monsters. Publish them in a book in the fall. You'll sell a bunch . Edit: to what I meant. Arrgghhh
