I just found this thread. It's really cool. Ryan, have you posted a E6 version anywhere yet? (I mean a collected draft version of the entire rulebook).
Well, since we have a WotC thread, what are your favorite non-Wizards of the Coast 3.0/3.5 products?
For me:
1. The Road of Kings (for Conan)
2. Wilderlands box set
3. Arms and Armor
I LOVE the Palladium Fantasy setting. The rules were better than ADnD 2e, but not 3e. And I also liked Rifts. But it got setting-hacked horribly in the later supplements.
Just how much change is there going to be? Is it just tweaks to this and that, or am I going to be reading the PHB and not recognizing much of anything?
I think the changes sound very drastic. I'm hoping it won't be that big of a deal. Though I am a Planescape fan, and wish they could have continued to use that model.
I haven't bought a 3.5 book in a while (last one was Waterdeep, I think). I am optimistic about the changes I've been hearing, though.
I am sure we will at least do a one-nighter in 4e to test the rules.
Do a 4e setting book placed during the time of the 1e boxed set. No Time of Troubles, Elminster is just a crabby sage in a little backwater, the Zhentarim are dangerous and run by Manshoon, the Red Wizards are in-your-face evil, etc.
