Hey, Galfridus! My opinion may be biased as I was one of the artists involved in that book, but I do own a copy and it's very, very good. It includes very detailed Naval Rules, lots of crunchy bits as ships (including some aerial ships), PrClasses, new monsters, equipment, spell, magic items...

As a freelance artist that works with Pinnacle regularly, I must say that the store owner is ill informed. I'm currently doing a project for them, just finished another one and have been paid accodingly... Unless they're really into paying for artwork they won't use, I'd say don't worry. Best...
