The BBEG in my current campaign is on a path to create an artifact which will give him control over a black dragon. While this won't happen for quite some time, I was wondering if there were any notable black dragons (books, movies, etc) that I could draw some inspiration from. Any ideas?

Looks pretty cool - i'd definitely be interested in it if it gets more user friendly. We use a TV as a dual monitor to display things just like this. However, I use Powerpoint to display the initiative and just drag-and-drop based on the order. Keep it up, it looks promising!
