I'd like to know, too...that's probably the biggest difference of opinion in my group about my Wildshape-happy Druid right now, and if WotC has definately stated that the Con change DOES affect hit points I'd really like to know.

I'm glad to see the eratta on this; it always bugged me that my Druid couldn't use Animal Growth and the like on his friend the Dire Lion. Barkskin + Luminous Armor + Greater Magic Fang + Animal Growth = much kicking of evil butt.

Gandalf's capabilities in the books can be debated pretty much eternally. As far as the movie version goes, I would say that he would best be represented in D&D terms as a Paladin with a custom spell list - an idea I got from someone on this board uite a while back.

I would very willingly buy FRCS sized books for Spelljammer, Dark Sun, Birthright, Al Quadim, and especially Planescape. Wonderful idea; I hope the powers that be at Wizards see this and put some thought into the idea.

IIRC, a character with Vow of Poverty can still make use of spell components owned by other members of the party and loaned or given to him. If I were DMing this I would allow the character to use the focus if it was purchased and kept by another character.

As I recall his name was Archibald Cunningham. One of my favorite movie villains ever; I saw Rob Roy in the base theater at Kunsan Air Force Base in South Korea, and the audience actually did a standing ovation when he met his fate. Only time I've EVER seen that at a movie theater.
