    Fiendish Raven

The Hypertext d20 SRDTM is an independent entity and is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Inc. So that's no canon, but it seems most people agree with that.

    Fiendish Raven

A raven has ¼ HD, and the fiendish template lists a minimum of 1 HD for cold and fire resistance and SR=5+HD, so does the fiendish raven have SR 5 or SR 6, and does it have any cold and fire resistance? My own thought would be to give it SR 5 but still give it the resistances since the minimum...

    Take 20 on Aid Another?

I voted no, but there might be some exceptions. If both the aiding and aided character got infinite time, yes then grant the +2 bonus. But if that would only be 20 times as long as normal, idk, maybe have the two take 22 as a team and have it last 22 times as long.

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 ride the raven.

I'd say since your raven is sort of borrowing your Enlarge Person spell and it's not a spell effect on its own it can't be made permanent separately. And even if you made the entire spell permanent the Share Spell effect would disappear if the raven got over 5 ft. away. Even if it was possible...

    Swarm's natural armor bonus

Did apply the 3.5 update booklet to it and assumed that it should now have a size bonus, but should the size bonus replace the natural armor bonus? Anyone know if rat swarms, hellwasp swarms, etc. had a natural armor bonus in 3.0? I notice that about every 3.0 swarm has a natural armor bonus...

    Swarm's natural armor bonus

Anyone know why wasps (FF, p172) have +1 natural armor while hellwasps (MM, p238) don't? I'd think hellwasps were tougher.

    Dagger whip, mighty whip books

Hmmm, odd, inside the books it says they're by Paizo. But I think I got it. They were by TSR, then TSR got purchased by WotC so they were by WotC. WotC was then purchased by Hasbro, although they kept using the name WotC, then Dragon was temporarily licensed to Paizo (who later created...

    Dagger whip, mighty whip books

Dragon Magazine (March 2007) mentions the dagger-whip but it's actually a reference to the Arms and Equipment Guide (March 2003) which predates the release of 3.5 by 4 months. Of course, like the Fiend Folio (April 2007), it could be that this was already semi-3.5 or 3.1 if you prefer, although...

    Dagger whip, mighty whip books

Oh, right it doesn't say that, but that's cause it's considered a ranged weapon in 3.0 so it went without mention. One more reason why the kusarigama is more like the spiked chain. I think we should look at the fact that the whip dagger didn't make it to 3.5 PHB or the CW as a sign that it...

    Dagger whip, mighty whip books

All 3 are exotic weapons that can attack adjacent opponents, can trip and grant a +2 on disarm and allow the use of Weapon Finesse. Whip-dagger is one-handed and has reach up to 15 ft, and can't be used as a double weapon. Spiked chain is two-handed has reach up to 10 ft., and can't be used as a...

    Dagger whip, mighty whip books

The 3.0 version of the Kusari-Gama is more like a weak spiked chain then a whip. I was looking in the update booklet, odd that they did make a 3.5 update but did not include it in that booklet. Guess I should look into Dragon magazine sometime, this is not the first reference to that. I'll get...

    Soft Metals Hardness

I'd fill the top half with water of course. Or what if I sealed it on the top and then drained all the air so the glass would be filled with half-density water :P. Aren't we supposed to talk about metal though? Core rulebooks have Bronze, Iron/Steel, Mithral and Adamantine, rest is probably...

    Soft Metals Hardness

What if I put an airtight seal halfway the glass and drained the bottom half of air?

    Help with Skill, LA, etc.

By RAW you'll just have a creature with the following abilities: Touch Attack (Su) Alternate Form (Su) Natural Armor +5 (Ex) And several more. The creature can activate any of those abilities (except natural armor, which is always active) When it activates the Alternate Form ability it loses...

    Chess based PrC.

I looked it up, and Lawful bards retain all abilities, so it is indeed possible. They just can't take levels in the Bard class, same applies for Monks. I thought they lost abilities like the Barbarian, Cleric, Druid and Paladin.

    Help with Skill, LA, etc.

Yes, but when using the alternate form ability you change form and loose whatever natural armor bonus you had in your base form and gain that of the form you change into. You also loose any natural attacks, movement modes and extraordinary special attacks, as well as supernatural attacks based...

    Soft Metals Hardness

Late reply, but from the DMG, page 144: Bronze has hardness 9 and 20 hit points per inch of thickness. Think that was already established, but now we have a SRD source supporting it.

    Drawing a dungeon

This might be a bit obvious, but in the case of where its necessary to draw out something... just tell them one square is 10x10?
