    having played pathfinder, witch just does feel like it could neatly go into warlock as a sort of mega subclasses. Main difference would be extra invocations specifically tailored to them.

    D&D General Why defend railroading?

    Depends on where the railroad goes and how long I have to sit on the train. If my character is allowed to 'get up and stretch' for awhile its not so bad. If its always on the train, then yea, railroading is obnoxious and unwanted.

    Spell level, caster level, character level, and class level. Man I dunno why, for me, but thac0 felt easier to comprehend than the different kind of levels.
