I guess with the addition of the helm my AC will be penalized by -1 due to ENC. Light encumbrance with a 11 ENC; Over by 3, max is 8 (universally) + Str bonus. Is there anything in the PHB with regards to the encumbrance of dwarves? I know D&D rules dwarves aren't encumbered with a med load...

One of my favorite NPCs I use is a Dwarf bard. He's a good guy though. I use him all the time. I think the first PC I create, if I can find a DM, will be just that.:D

I read that and I understood that there was an AC +1 for 1 attacker, 2 attackers etc, so I canned the idea for a 2handed weapon. Kuld P.S. I think I'll get the helm. ;)

Now that I have some extra money, I was wondering if the helm AC and Coif AC stacked? Scale armor comes with a leather coif, however, I would like to upgrade :D I wouldn't think the AC stacked but you could wear a helm over a coif. Should I just 86 the coif?

I agree with NewJeffCTHome and the KISS system. Huge and elaborate plots could be fun to build but you should avoid the predetermined "if p than q" philosophy, becouse it's impossible to plan for every possible contingency. And you'll find that a simple plot, one that may or may not last one...

My old ALICE pack is too small. I use a 12 qu. ft. duffle bag (almost a two-man lift). ;) Though I haven't seen the "new" packs yet. I use the ALICE pack to stow all my paintball gear, which I've only ever used twice...:D

Heck, most of the 3/3.5E books I have I received this christmas/birthday from my dad and my in-laws. Once they heard that I was "getting back into it", they literally went crazy and spent a lot of money. They definitely surprised me. It was nuts!
