Looking for advice. I'm going to have my players enter a room with a bunch of tiny stinging insects. However I want them to solve the problem creatively instead of just swinging away. Should I consider doing a skill challenge?

That is kinda what I figured that I was going to need to do. That's OK. I have time to convert while the players are traveling. I also really only need to with on the areas that they explore not necessarily every square inch.

I'm still doing 4e. Just started a new group just a couple of weeks ago. I am thinking about trying to convert ToEE. If you know anyone that has already tried this, I would love the info.

My group plays 4e. I like the way the combat works. I have a couple of players that prefer the almost board game type feel of 4e. 3e was just too complex for them. I agree that 4e does play different than the other editions, but I personally don't mind the change. Not sure if we may consider 5e...
