A melee attack has no chance of hitting the wrong target. A ranged attack has 50% chance of hitting either target, but that can be negated with the "improved precise shot" feat. Look at table 8-6 in PHv3.5

No I really did mean 3 x str and 3.5 x str ... for 2 x str or 2.5 x str the feat would not be used at all ... ever ... in our campaigns ... and thats usually a good way to find out what's the right interpretation for your campaign.

In most groups we use it like: 1-hd power lunge: d? + 3 x Str 2-hd power lunge: d? + 3.5 x Str We have one DM that uses the argument that the "1.5" damage is the normal damage with two-handed, so that becomes: 2-hd power lunge : d? + 4.5 x Str But that's to overpowerd for the other campaigns.

hahaha :) I asked the same and got the answer that you do feel the weight, but don't have an armor check penalty or arcane spellfailure or other effect by the armor.

in 3.5 there are a lot more (druid) spells with the elemental descriptors ... like: - create water - gust of wind - soften earth and stone - meld into stone - wind wall - air walk - control water - spike stones - the summon spells and those are only the low lvl spells ...

Thats true, but I can only find rules about natural weapons having a reach of "0", not about manufactured weapons ... but it should work the same.

In 3.5 polymorph is based on alter self, and alter self has the limit that the new form must be "within one size category or your normal size".

It is applicable .. the piece right under it says: That is just one paragraph of the four under the "unarmed attacks" heading. Natural weapons are simply a subcategory of unarmed attacks.

All natural attacks are unarmed attacks. It said so in the 3.0 PH, at the end of the combat chapter. I don't know exactly where it says so in 3.5. So the troll has two choices: - "monster attack": two claws at full bab, full str to damage and bite at -5, half str to damage - "monk flurry"...
