Who plays with archer is always concerned about your ammo.

It was you who had not seen the synergy of Volley + Swift Quiver. And yes, they are 6 spells against 1 spell of Ranger (sorry).

    D&D 5E Favored Enemy needs a simple Damage +2

Swift Quiver You transmute your quiver so it produces an endless supply of nonmagical ammunition, which seems to leap into your hand when you reach for it. On each of your turns until the spell ends, you can use a bonus action to make two attacks with a weapon that uses ammunition from the...

RLY? The interaction is ending the arrows from the quiver, my friend. With Swift Quiver can fire up 16 arrows per round using Ranger's Volley, not worrying about quantity. It was clear that you have never played this edition with Ranger.

7 castings with Level 17 Bard and 9 castings in level 20. ;) This is simple, use spell slots above the level 5 with the Bard for Conjure Volley.

With the Bard copying ranger spells. I'm not talking about the Ranger here.

Conjure Voley spell >>>>>>>>>>>>> Ranger's Voley level 11. 8d8 damage in 20 feets radius VS 1d8 +5/+8 damage in 10 feets radius Bard can use Tree Stride for Flee too. A Ranger before level 17 can not abuse their voley shots because we have not learned Swift Quiver and level 17 Bard can use 7...

    D&D 5E Favored Enemy needs a simple Damage +2

    Spells in level 20: Paladin = 25 spells Eldritch Knight = 13 spells + 3 cantrips Ranger = 11 spells Really WotC!?!?!

Not sacrifice archetype too. In other editions may rangers used the companion to mount more than to any other function. Find Steed's it.

    D&D 5E Favored Enemy needs a simple Damage +2

For a Bard ranged/spellcaster do not need high HP, AC, etc. He can use Conjure Volley (for attack) or Tree Stride (to flee) 9x per day, Ranger only 2x.

    D&D 5E Favored Enemy needs a simple Damage +2

1- Find Steed improves your speed. 2- It's a level 2 spell. 3- There is not a real animal. 4- If you die can be invoked again in the next turn (no need to wait 8 hours). 5- Do not sacrifice your archetype. 6- Depending on the DM you can invoke other mounts beyond horse (a friend invokes a Grifon...

    D&D 5E Favored Enemy needs a simple Damage +2

I'm playing with the Ranger for five months, am level 11. I will explain my comparison with these 3 classes: Fighting Styles (Fighter) Land's Stride (Druid) Summon Spells (Druid) Nature Spells (Druid) Vanish (limited Rogue's Cunning Action) Feral Senses (like Rogue's Blindsenses) Hunter's...

    D&D 5E Favored Enemy needs a simple Damage +2

Rogue is a city explorer. Ranger is a natural explorer. Rogue is more effective in their specialty than the Ranger in his specialty. More: Paladin's Find Steed spell humbles Beast Master archetype. A Bard "ranger" humiliates the Ranger class.

Nope, Ranger in Next is a combination of Fighter + Druida + Rogue. He tries to embrace the world but is not good enough.
