    Uses for a blind horse?

Isn't horse a delicacy somewhere? Switzerland, maybe?

    Uses for a blind horse?

Toss it through a broken portal with a bat, and see what comes out.

    Reach weapon and AOO

Offhand, I'd say that you would have to drop the spear (free action) to then make an attack with a non-reach melee, either your gauntlet, or you could burn a move action on drawing a different weapon, probably another two hander if you follow any two handed feat path with your longspear...

My fighter always gets battered-am I "normal"?

*Poof* You know what that was? It was my dreams... :( Ah well, who cares. We don't even have an arcane in my party! ;)

My fighter always gets battered-am I "normal"?

Oh... you're right. Ok... same deal, but with a dagger.

My fighter always gets battered-am I "normal"?

You know... I was thinking: Could an arcane/divine multiclasser with levels in the Spellsword PrC channel cure spells into a sling bullet and chuck it at an ally?

My fighter always gets battered-am I "normal"?

Maybe you can get yourself some DR, through either a PrC (Pit Fighter) or even an in game event (Curse of Avernus).

Yup... as I said, that's no good... it's evil. :)

    Knock versus "special" doors

Well, I guess it all stems on how compulsory your adventures are. In Bissel, if we get an order from our Baron (Most of our quests have either been on his orders, or following up on events) we jump to it. And if the adventure that order takes us on was tailored to kill our party... well...

    Knock versus "special" doors

If you're stuck at a door that you need a cleric to open, and you have no cleric, your DM will probably allow a creative solution to the problem (otherwise, he hasn't done his job tailoring the adventure to your party). I've always carried around a holy symbol of Zilchus (It helps me get...

Creative uses for Illusion ("Image") spells

Wow, and there's the evil usage. Thinking about options, all I kept dreaming up was old Warner Brothers cartoons.

    Dragon Disciple

Well, that's just a matter of self control. Seems silly to me, like refusing to hire someone because their spouse works for you. And as for that... when I was first explaining D&D to her, she asked me two questions: 1) Can I fly? 2) Can I have a flamethrower? If this works out (Got my...

Creative uses for Illusion ("Image") spells

    7. If you have damage resistance from something (e.g. Green Star Adept's DR/Adamantine) make yourself look like a werewolf, so the npcs think you're vulnerable to a different material. 8. Illusion other NPCs surrendering, see if you can make the real ones join suit. 9. Disguise one of your...

Creative uses for Illusion ("Image") spells

Great list... here are a couple others I thought up while reading it: 1. Illusion yourself up a reach weapon, have enemies waste movements on avoiding your 'threatened squares', or, if you have a reach weapon, illusion yourself up a normal one, can you say AoO? 2. If you're a ranged person...

    Dragon Disciple

It's a high EL/low XP, treasure, magic item campaign. The best way to keep alive appears to be to PrC quickly, especially one that would give her a natural armor bonus.

    Dragon Disciple

Well, on her first day she dished out more damage than the rest of us combined... cleric included (and she was doing 50+ damage to creatures with multiple inflict wound spells). But you're right about the holding back on the in-game reason... she's still pretty shy about roleplaying. The other...

    Dragon Disciple

I was talking with my girlfriend, who I cajoled into joining our campaign as a 4th level fighter (She's never played before, and as of now, has one day of experience under her belt) about possibility of picking a prestige class in the future. We were looking through the standard material, and...

    Hide in Plain Sight

This is clearly still a contentious issue. I've played in a game where there was a shadowdancer with a continual flame helmet, casting shadows all around himself. The ruling on it was that he could hide in plain sight at almost any time and place. This, in my opinion, resulted in two...
