That is the great tenaicty of the daleks....you absolutley destroy them but somehow they return. Plus they will finally settle many a boyhood playground game played 20+ years ago...who is better the daleks or the cyberman....always a cyberman fan but get an inkling they might not win.... JohnD

Given what our group has played over the years and using DDM terminology barbs, monks and rogues are rare, i personally never play any of them sorcerors, fighters and bards are uncommon wizards, rangers and clerics are common. I mostly play ranger-clerics

gnomes casting illusion spells (+1 DC) with SF and GSF have very hard to resist phantasmal killers and various shadow evoke etc spells. Plus having a con bonus makes it more likely you can slip an extra point into Int at creation and potentially have a higher Int stat quicker. JohnD

Prefer to GM from 1 to no more than 5. After that things get forgotten, including people if there are a quieter type. I did once DM to 22 at Notts Poly. Party included a whole assassins guild in 1e AD&D. All but 2 died in a mad session.... JohnD
