"I have neither rope nor torches, but I brought some holy water, just in case. I will now rest as well. See you in the morrow". With those words Adalwulf sets off to get some sleep.
So, I think I have the stats sorted out and edited my first entry.
I changed Light control to Theurgy (Divine Magic) but will still stick to light effects. Alternate form is now a spell (which should be okay by the rules, but of course the GM has the last word) with Slow Fade.
My character's...
Finally started to enter a character proposal in the Wiki. It is an Aasimar cleric and still work in progress (takes a while to enter info in the wiki). So once Aasimar are finally approved and I have found my way around the wiki I am ready to go.
Question: Would you allow the "Action" flaw to be applied to Alternate form (changing from Free Action to Full Action)? I am currently toying a bit with an "Angel of Light" form ...
"Elerion Willowsong, travelling troubadour, at your service", Elerion says with a smile and a bow. "That is quite a kitten you have there", he adds after mustering Shar for a second. "Has she been following you for long?"
Makes sense. I was always wondering about that flaw anyway. Gives you -1/pp, but can be easily "countered" by good old "Skill Mastery" :)
I think I'll go without it and just pray for flavour anyway. I expect to have a character up for approval on Monday around noon (GMT).
Re lifestyle: I'll...
I would like to go for a "Light controller" (Alt Powers would be most likely Blast, Healing, Dazzle, Illusion, Strike, Force Field).
All those powers require a skill check "Knowledge:Religion" to be activated (Divine Source) .
I also consider a drawback that requires a "saintly lifestyle" or...
"Hold still, you accursed rodent", Ezekiah rages at the fleeing Batman, once again scorching him with his torch.
And again Blast at Perception range against the bat. Why won't he stand and fight?
James smiles, as he sees the success of his illusion. Since this seems to be a good way to weaken the mob without actually killing anyone, he decides to play the same trick on the mob to the right.
Yes, I know it's boring. :) But I really don't want to kill anyone right now ... and my other...
"So we do not know anyone who ever explored the cave, is that correct?", Adalwulf says.
"It would make sense then to leave point to those who can see in darkness and those who can spot ... structural hazards. But it would also be wise to stay close enough to those of us who are armoured, so...
"I don't know, Brick", Schmidt says as he prepares himself for the teleport. "I studied this ... Batman everyone talks about a bit and maybe this city would be a lot safer if he had put a bullet through the Joker's or the Penguin's brain instead of allowing them to murder and pillage again and...
"Let us get out of here. Doctor, do you have any ... I don't know ... gimmick that can wipe surveillance gear and such? I don't know if the Penguin had something like that, but better safe than in the 6 o'clock news."
As soon as the last member of the party is down, Lionel , after one last look around, climbs down and joins the rest at the bottom of the ladder, again readying his shield and sword.
"Where to now?", he enquires.
"Would there be one place more?", Elerion chimes in. The half-elf had sat quietly in a corner, tuning his lute. "While I don't have as big a sword as ... Throrg, was it? I am certain that some music at the campfire at night and an additional pair of eyes during the travels at day might be of...
Lionel had kept very quiet so far, although judging from his stony-faced expression he was far from happy. "Fleeing from Evil ... Leopold, let me be the last to descend. I fear no disease and my honour demands that I go last."
With these words Lionel readies himself, should the undead approach.
Can't wait. :) Already have an idea for a light-controller whose powers have to be activated by a Knowledge:Religion check (praying, contemplating scripture(s), calling on Saints etc) ... not that his powers are actually granted by a divine being, he is just convinced that this is needed.
