Agreed, but that'd probably require more of a change than the folks that make those decisions would be comfortable with. Then again, with Crawford departing that means that the folk (sort of) taking over might be willing to make those changes to put their own spin on things.

There are a lot of indie TTRPG products that make use of public domain art- the good ones curate their choices to make the colors and/or styles fit one-another well.

The physical versions are very nice! I was impressed with the build quality for such large TTRPG books. Good binding and yeah, fancy ribbons :'D
