    D&D (2024) Fireball is a C Tier Spell

I already let my players do some damage swaps for thematic reasons.

    D&D 5E Slightly Tankier Monk?

Once they get deflect attack monks are already slightly tanky. Just don't get surrounded.

    D&D (2024) Fireball is a C Tier Spell

Kinda. 4e did that with minions. But they ended up with. Boss ogre for lower levels, normal ogre for mid levels, and minion ogre for high levels. Which was pretty awkward. So with 5e they wanted to keep AC and to-hit a lot more restrained. Now a goblin can still stab a level 20 fighter.

D&D 5E Eldritch Knight/Bladesinger Multiclass War Magic-Extra attack class features

That video was for old 2014. 2 cantrips (no attack) is for the new 2024 rules. But I agree it's not broken either way. You have slightly higher damage, but lower other stuff.

D&D 5E Eldritch Knight/Bladesinger Multiclass War Magic-Extra attack class features

Jeremy said it worked in this video. No sage advice for 2024, but IMO, it works too. Bladesinger let's you replace one attack. EK lets you replace one attack. So you can replace 2 attacks with 2 cantrips.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

Sentinel, world tree, grapple, shield master, ect... Which means parties are now going to be 80% small. Like, who doesn't want a free +1 AC?

So every tank is now small... Why not just Small: cannot use 2 handed weapon.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

I don't think taking 1 damage away from a rogue is going to do much. Just do it your first way. Tiny, but can't have more than 10 Str. No extra bonus (still get the gnome saves). You have your flavorful penalty, and it doesn't hurt game balance.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

It makes every monk and rogue into a gnome. That's the issue with penalties, they make you want extra bonuses.

    D&D (2024) D&D 5e 2024 Monk Handbook

I haven't seen any clarifications. By my reading a ranger 4/monk16 can grab 2 epic boons. But your waiting a long time without ability score increases, and still miss our on resistance, or walking though walls as a shadow monk.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

Just out of curiosity. What are the new rules for size? I don't see any general rules besides "space you take up In combat", and being in other creatures spaces. And a few other ones like grapple, or "push large size or smaller". And I missing anything? So tiny gnome (with no other rules)...

Outclassed for damage maybe. But you miss resistance to all damage, and the epic boon.

D&D General Should Gnomes be Tiny

Nothing stops you from playing a gnome with 8 Str. But the main issue is that the penalties are an excuse to add extra benefits (I.e. -4 Str means +2 Dex), But you can easily avoid any actual penalties (dual wield, cast spells).

Elemental Radiant Burst is not a thing you would do often. Only when there's a group. Summon them ? dip cleric 1 Detect Good and Evil Thaumaturge (+Wis to Int skills) Guidance and healing Word are quite nice too. Cleric 1/Rogue 1/Elemental Radiant Monk x Throwing daggers of light.

If your DM is allowing damage swaps.. Then how about a element-but-radiant monk? Add Tavern Brawler so you use anything as a weapon, with scaling dice. And you get your Dex/Wis skill Maybe dip rogue 1 for expertise.

    D&D (2024) Casting 6 spells a round the Limit?

Haste, for another cantrip. And if your willing to count chance, wild magic can get 2 more. Not reliably, but each non-cantrip can trigger another spell (or action to cast a spell). Edit: 4 more. 2 from tides or chaos, 2 from rolling 20 after casting a spell. Still need to roll a "spell"...

Guess I don't see what pact of the blade is doing for you then. Just for alternative damage types? Valor bard, Bladesinger, and Eldritch knight can. But that's a few levels up. Ok. Guess pact of the blade is for radiant damage then. Thematic. I'll also suggest Aasimar.
