D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

To toss out another idea. The ritual isn't complete until the eclipse ends. And it doesn't end until the wizard dies (noticeable with DC 20 arcane check). Meanwhile, the whole world is slowly freezing (ticking clock)

D&D (2024) Wargamer Takes Shot At WotC for Not Respecting Forgotten Realms Canon.

Umm Actually... They call it a paladin subclass. It's a fighter subclass. Ironic isn't it, when they complain about not respecting source material.

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

Doesn't sound bad enough IMO. Especially if they have a shadow monk and Gloomstalker ranger for allies. But if it rains down Meteor Swarms around them every few minutes as the moon breaks up sounds pretty good. Even if they teleport, the moon follows and drops more rocks.

IMO They eclipse happens, and then the moon falls. And / or the eclipse happens and never ends. Turning the zone into a frozen wasteland.

Or they are secretly implementing the old Solid Fog spell.. 🤣

I don't see any reason why it would need to be windows only. Unreal 5 supports cross platform play. You could put it on Playstation, X-box, and phones too. Though I doubt they would. Not unless it's very successful.

    D&D (2024) Sigil Review Thread (+)

Sigil used Unreal 5 as the engine. Unreal 5 has Mac support, though usually a versions or 2 behind. So it shouldn't be too much work to get it running. And I'm guessing there will be official Mac support eventually. Maybe in like a year, but still eventually.

It's not completely removed. Some creatures still have it. It's just mostly removed.

D&D 5E For those playing 2014 5e, how are you reacting to the 2024 update?

My houserule for that. Out of turn movement (I.e. monk dragging the cleric with spirit guardians, readied movement) doesn't deal the damage. Pretty sure that's what was intended to work. Also, it not a new issue. It was once per turn before too. It is easier to pull off though.

D&D 5E [2024 5e] Too many character ideas for next campaign arc

It's more that the old monk was possibly the weakest class, thus needed the biggest boost. It's been brought up to be on par with the Barbarian and fighter. I still don't like shadow though, unless the rest of your party builds around it. Darkness hampers your allies as much as helps you...

D&D 5E [2024 5e] Too many character ideas for next campaign arc

First answer is to play what's most fun. But beyond that as you have Int/Cha/Str and maybe Wis covered. I'd recommend Dex. Shadow monk has issues IMO, unless the rest of your party picks up Blindsight or similar. Then it's really powerful. So rogue

D&D (2024) Can A Spell Caster Out Damage A Martial Consistently "Archer"?

I'll take that as a no raging wand of magic missile then. Still, 3 levels into UA Armorer gives you the only other thrown ranged weapon besides dart.

I'm not talking about your classification this time. But by RAW, does Rage prevent you from using a wand of Magic Missile or Pipes of Haunting?

Would be fun to have a giant neigh unstoppable snail, that you could easily out run. Like gargantuan 30 AC, immune to elemental damage, dissolved walls and anything else in it's way, and moved 1' per round (5' when dashing).

Magnets All the iron in the world is rusted and combined with the silt, and the core of the world has a higher magnetic field, pulling it down with a greater force. Not so much as to be noticed as you lift a sword, but enough to keep the dust down. It's also how different creatures can dig...
