D&D (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

Point buy 15+2 Dex, 15+1 Cha, 13 Str, 12 Con, 8 Wis, 8 Int. Don't need as much Con with that much AC. And paladin 6 will cover your lower Wis save. Also Musician background for the reroll. You will need to take the +2 Cha instead of a feats to get up to 20/20, but +2 to AC and +1 to all...

D&D (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

Dip dance bard. (Or bard dipping paladin). 10+Dex (5) + Cha (5) + Cha(5) + Shield (2) = 27/33 You can't stack defensive fighting style but that just frees it up for defensive. Also, if you rolled good stats, dip Bladesinger for +Int and Blade Ward.

D&D (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

What similar ability lets you grapple with a 2 handed reach weapon? Then they need to remove grappled and just have restrained. Which is what Ensnaring Stike does.

D&D (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

The only penalty for wearing heavy armor without Str is -10 speed. Medium armor also doesn't have a Str requirement. Still a bit awkward, but you can swap to light at level 3.

D&D (2024) How do you grade Scion of the Dead Three? Green, Yellow, Red?

I like it, but is there some lore reason a devoting yourself to a dead god requires intelligence? Seems like Wis would be more fitting, as this is divine. Possibly Cha if your doing fear effects. Or just drop the secondary stat. Bloodthirsty seems like it should be 2 uses per long rest +1...

D&D (2024) Bladesinger, is it Green, Yellow, or Red?

I'd rather see a new subclass or update one that needs it than polishing one that's already in good shape. But no complaints about the changes.

D&D (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

I like the theme and overall, but need some balancing between options. You have a no-save restrained vs non scaling damage. IMO Doa: needs to clarify that it takes a free hand. Otherwise can I grapple with Lance? Efeeti: damage equal to your paladin level+Cha (needs to scale). Splendor...

D&D General Playing to "Win" - The DM's Dilemma

I find one of the best way to deal with people who want to win, in general, is just to try and lose as fast as possible. And then play again and let them win even easier to win. Continue to play dumber a dumber, having a wizard charge the front lines with a battleaxe, then a blind wizard. See...

D&D (2024) Spellfire Sorceror what did you score it Green/Yellow/Red?

I haven't read the books so I don't know anything about it, but it doesn't really excite me at all. But i don't see anything wrong with it either. Radiant Fire should be an attack roll to benefit from Sorcerer's advantage.

D&D General Active Defenses: Increasing Player Engagement

Possibly add Cunning Strike to monsters, but leave it the players choice. I.e. Take 2d10+5 damage Or 1d10+5 and fall prone.

Also, let the most bored player track initiative. And the second most board player track how much damage was dealt to each creature. Maybe even let them roll creature damage

    D&D (2024) I have a Monster Manual. AMA!

IMO, it just means "doesn't fit anywhere else". Monstrosity = Miscellaneous.

Do all creatures seem to have initiative boost? The few samples I saw all seemed to have high initiative.

D&D General Active Defenses: Increasing Player Engagement

Just have players roll AC "saves" and spell attacks. Simply minus 10 from the player AC, and plus 10 to the monster attacks. I.e. 15 attack vs 1d20+8 AC. 1d20 +5 dex attack vs 12 Dex defense.

New Unearthed Arcana Released, With 8 New Forgotten Realms-Themed Subclasses

I assume they didn't want to do a UA for all 12 at once. Get some feedback on these first, do the other 4 later.

But it works equally well on cause fear. Folktale as an action still doesn’t make sense though.

Unearthed Arcana College of the Moon (Bard)

Better in a power sense, but I can't see the thematic connection. But I can't figure out what "Mirth" has to do with helping enemies fail saving throws. Or how you can tell a fairy tail as an action? A better one would be something like You can tell a folktale durring a short rest and gain...
