Yeah, its possible after the next Transformers and the D&D movie eOne won't exist anymore and this is par for the course with Hasbro. I deal with them & WotC as both a game store owner and a toy fan and the WotC profits are hiding a lot of other divisions within the company's sins.

The issue is how Hasbro/WotC is making that money. Magic has spent the last 2 years focusing on high ticket items to a much smaller audience and it is working but the game itself is hurting. There are quality control issues and even well produced sets like Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty and Dominaria...

The OSR doesn't exist without Dancey and the OGL and 5E was designed to capitalize upon it.

Can you comment on if the MotU RPG is still going forward?

I think both Arneson & Gygax benefitted from this and that's okay. Both ended up being dumped in the end anyway.

I actually prefer digital products but I'm in the minority within my group. If it were digital only I'd just stick with the material I own for 5E on DnD Beyond and be perfectly happy.

I and my group are fully invested in D&D Beyond and if the material isn't better we might stick with 5E. I don't think we will but I'm almost 50 and I'd rather play games I know really well and don't have as much time for mastering a new version of something.

Hasbro knows nostalgia sells but they don't seem to realize that even a little effort to support that nostalgia goes a long way.

I ran a 13th Age Campaign for about 6 months and never used the Relationship dice. Worked fine without it.

Congratulations to Ajit. As I was reading the article I was thinking, "I wonder if they ever found the original award?", and they did not.

Part of me wonders how many monsters will begin with "space"? That "S" section of the monster section is going to be even longer in this release.

I think I need more than a trailer to reach that conclusion.

It looks fun and I think that is what it needs to be.
