Level Up (A5E) An Updated Reincarnation Table

Thanks @Faolyn this is super helpful despite preventing players from experiencing the inherent awesomeness of the dwarves. ;)

Level Up (A5E) Help me make a necromancer archetype

A variation on corpse explosion would fit that well.

Level Up (A5E) Help me make a necromancer archetype

I certainly understand that view, but given that Warlocks have archetypes where there are sub-options that they can choose from it's not that big of a design flex and would reward different styles of play more than just corralling the player into one playstyle

Level Up (A5E) Help me make a necromancer archetype

I like it, but I feel almost like the 2nd level touch of death and create minion should be an either/or options. Make it so you can build the Necro as a minion master OR someone who revels more in touch spells. Maybe make a second 6th level ability that boosts the ability for the necro to...

Level Up (A5E) A5e Data Requests

thank you kindly for your work

Level Up (A5E) Improvised Weapons: Ever the Smart Move?

Bit late to this, but I'll add in my take. I used to play a Palladium Books game called Ninjas and Superspies that had a huge list of martial arts that were just cool. Now the base rules for all of the games from Palladium Books were clunky as hell, but the flavor was great. That said there...

Level Up (A5E) A5e Data Requests

It would. Being able to just narrow down what spalls have rare variants would be a huge help

Level Up (A5E) A5e Data Requests

@xiphumor I may have missed it, but is it possible to ad in rare spell info into your data mine?

Level Up (A5E) A5E Druid Wildshape Tracker

Updated sheet here which also includes Berserkers. I'm still not adding the Con mod to AC while in WS, but would like to see @Morrus or another designer weigh in on if Rugged defense adds to Wildshape AC. If so I'll update it. As always, feedback is appreciated.

    Homebrew A5e Spells Data

@xiphumor I downloaded the file and when I open it I get an error indicating the file needs to be recovered. When I do it brings up the following repairs dialog. I've tried downloading it on multiple machines with the same error. I am using MS Office 365.

    Level Up (A5E) Grappling Warlock

Really kind of enamored with the idea of playing an eldritch whip warlock that specializes in grappling

    D&D 5E Swashbuckler Rogues

Only the ability to avoid AOO. The bonus to speed and the ability to Dash through difficult terrain are both super useful for an adventurer that wants to keep space between them and the enemy

    D&D 5E Swashbuckler Rogues

As @bedir than said Tough would be the better option from the feats you mentioned. Personally I would lean towards mobile over charger, but both of those are useful. Fey Touched may be another good, if niche, choice. If you need additional attunement and your DM allows 3rd party there's Mystic...

Level Up (A5E) Turning Mythological Figures & Maleficent Monsters into A5e Resources

Fair enough. One of the classes is an alchemist which can use potions called mutagens to given them enhanced abilities.

Level Up (A5E) Turning Mythological Figures & Maleficent Monsters into A5e Resources

I've always pictured Circe as a bard that had some affinity with curses/shapechanging. Maybe a unique archetype. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Level Up (A5E) Turning Mythological Figures & Maleficent Monsters into A5e Resources

Bit on the nose given Pathfinder's take, but an artificer would also fit here.

Dragonlance Lunar Sorcery: A Preview from Shadow of the Dragon Queen

I see what you're referring to. Based on the original Dragonlance Adventures book and my remembering of the setting the Tinkers inventions were firmly scientific in nature and the rules for building the devices supported a "separation of science and magic". The artificer blends science and...
