How you even set up an encounter is fudging in the broadest sense. Like, do you do ambushes at level one, or only higher levels? How you run the monster in combat, do they only go after one character, or spread damage?
I fudge all the time, because it's impossible to always build an interesting encounter.
I do rarely roll in the open, but I can't tell you why it when. I just sometimes do.
They have no idea why someone picked green or red at this point. It's terrible survey design. The inability to make an overall comment is truly baffling. Unless they don't want feedback.
I did skim it, and I'm curious to READ it. It appears each monster type has abilities I can activate, that are listed OUTSIDE the individual blocks, and I already KNOW I'll forget them. 100%.
Looks like a great starter set! If I knew someone that wanted to start playing, I'd buy it for them. As it is, I'm swamped with stuff and might not have much income next year, so not getting it for me, but I think it will be worth the money.
