The Neverwinter 4e book is really good, but some people will hate it for the changes it makes. Just place it out of the realms.... I've always wanted to run this campaign. Maybe I will!

If you want short examples and lots of tables and advice for making your own settlemens, of any size, spectacular settlements is amazing. Freeport and Ptolus are really, really, good. As is Sharn. There are a ton of cities in the forgotten realms, but only waterdeep has it's own book, iirc...

I just can't get worked up about lore changing over decades. I prefer random dragonmarks, personally.

They both are. This isn't hard to understand at all.

I don't need the art. I have access to more eberron art than I can use. I get it's an inspiration, and I get it matters to me, but we use DNDbeyond so much to run our games now, I hardly look at rule books at this point. I'm sure my player that plays an artificer would like updated rules, though.

I run an eberron campaign, so this is a buy.

That's not how money works. If they get money to support the old KS, they get to keep their own money.

Lots of problematic stuff back in the day. And still today, just different.

Could be a book about undead, which would be my top hope. Could be part of the shadowfell. Could be the dark side mentioned above. I'm tired of rewrites.

I can't back anything that funds hatred. Of course, if they bought the IP, the family still gets money, but at least it isn't ongoing. Too bad it's licensed.

I'd like a tool that can make me art, but that doesn't steal from artists, indeed compensates them, and does not consume insane amounts of energy. It really helps with immersion and inspiration.

Isn't someone always try to free them? I don't know if I see that as an issue. But others might.
