D&D General Two underlying truths: D&D heritage and inclusivity

Wizards have said multiple times your games are your own. Rules are there to help. But make judgment calls your own. Multiple. Many times. People still do not understand. That is on them. Just as bland uninteresting races are on them.

Too much of an uncompromising statement.

D&D General Two underlying truths: D&D heritage and inclusivity

From Keith Baker " ORCS While they aren’t as directly animalistic as shifters, I see orcs as a very primal race. They’re extremely passionate and emotional; this can manifest as aggression or rage, but it’s just as strong when it comes to loyalty, affection and faith. They believe in things...

Have to sleep. If you different religion and culture means off human. That is too simplistic. But sure believe that.

Why did you make that conclusion without knowing much about Eberron orcs. Seems very odd. Again. I suggest reading the material first. Before making snap judgments.

Should have clarified. Second head. Church itself is good. But very complex. Great roleplaying opportunities. Without baggage. I find the one note religions to be distasteful. I suggest reading it.

Their culture. Their history. What they stand for. Very interesting. Gnolls get the same complex treatment. Hobgoblins get the same complex treatment. Not as simple as other settings. Lots of monsters. Complexity of Eberron means humans can be monsters. I suggest reading it. The head of a good...

Yep. Why I said could be good examples. So. Means people should at least know about them. Before making assertions. And doubling down.

D&D General Two underlying truths: D&D heritage and inclusivity

I have said many times before. Eberron already has examples. People want to keep arguing is on them.

D&D General Two underlying truths: D&D heritage and inclusivity

Eberron orcs fought against evil. Stood against evil. Eberron orcs do not have the Int penalty. Eberron orcs have the choice of two skills. Eberron orcs are otherwise the same.

He is literally asking for nuance. Why is there the inherent assumption of tendency towards violence. Why is that racist garbage. Balanced are Eberron orcs. Could be good examples.
