    Dragonbane: Roll20 Character Sheet (S.O.S)

Did you start a game in Roll20 and select the Dragonbane character sheet, and the compendium? It's in the Settings, before you launch the game.

    Dragonbane: Roll20 Character Sheet (S.O.S)

It makes perfect sense now that I see it. I love Basic Role Playing, the Chaosium system, so when I read/heard that this game is an iteration of that (Rune Quest) my dorky little heart got all a'flutter. This is a beautiful game, and it's supported on the VTT I use so all is right with the...

    Dragonbane: Roll20 Character Sheet (S.O.S)

Dude, you are my frigging hero. Virtual hug from New England. That's exactly what it is. Right in front of my nose. Thank you!

    Dragonbane: Roll20 Character Sheet (S.O.S)

This is a characters sheet for Dragonbane on Roll20. On the right hand side of the screen, the numbers in red. Can anyone tell me what in the Nine Hells they are? It's not damage. I cannot for the life of me figure out what that number is for. I am going to take up drinking again if I can't...

    Kobold Press: Confuzzling

This setting is much darker than FR. I am enjoying reading about it, and I am astonished by how big it is. Very different tone than WotC.

D&D 5E (2014) D&D's Inclusivity Language Alterations In Core Rules

The changes WotC made don't hurt a soul, and are intended--I think--to recognize that as more and more people who differ from the original fan base (largely white, cismen) enter into the hobby, things that were taken for granted, or were considered 'normal,' need reconsideration. I have to admit...

D&D 5E (2014) D&D's Inclusivity Language Alterations In Core Rules

Morrus, if I could pull off talking like an 19th century British explorer, I'd do it! (Kidding, friend. Zero offense intended)

I wish you talked that way. That would be awesome.

D&D 5E (2014) D&D's Inclusivity Language Alterations In Core Rules

Here is a direct quote from the book. I'm sharing this so that you'll know where I first heard about it (and, to be clear, I think @SlyFlourish is a great and generous guy in the TTRPG space!) I was not aware that the issue of colonialism was something being discussed in the world of TTRPGs. I...

D&D 5E (2014) D&D's Inclusivity Language Alterations In Core Rules

Honestly, friend, it's all very new to me so I'm a poor choice to explain it. My general rule of thumb is, "don't be a jerk," so I'll file it there. :)

D&D 5E (2014) D&D's Inclusivity Language Alterations In Core Rules

One thing in life I've learned over many decades: just because something isn't important to me doesn't mean it's not important to someone else. These changes don't hurt anything. I'm done playing WotC D&D for a lot of reasons, but none of them have to do with changing the word 'dark' to 'vile.'...

D&D 5E (2014) D&D's Inclusivity Language Alterations In Core Rules

If WotC perceives it will make more money by making these changes, that's what they'll do.

D&D 5E (2014) D&D's Inclusivity Language Alterations In Core Rules

I was unaware of the 'decolonizing' thing until I read it in SlyFlourish's new monster book.

    Kobold Press: Confuzzling

I am just now getting into Midgard, and started reading the campaign book last night. It is...large (and awesome). I am new to Kobold Press, so there is a ton of material to go through. My group plays on VTT, so I'm happy to see Kobold has a good amount of stuff on Roll20. Thanks to all for the...

    Kobold Press: Confuzzling

Thank you, friend. I don't want to buy stuff that won't work with other stuff. I think (?) Kobold is generally compatible with WotC 5e. I will not longer be giving WotC any of my hard-earned copper pieces, so I'm investigating 3rd party materials. So far, so good!

    Kobold Press: Confuzzling

I am digging into some Kobold Press stuff, which I really like. I am a bit turned around re: Tome of Beasts (1-3), Tome of Beasts 1(5e), Deep Magic 5e, and Deep Magic 1&2. Are there large differences between the non-5e materials and the 5e materials? Then, Tales of the Valiant will have its own...
