D&D General could you help me sorting those two stats I have difficulties to appraise

Figures, I spent most of my childhood in 1e and then 2e. But I never read those player options books that came out at the end of 2e. Sorry I wasn't more helpful! :)

D&D General could you help me sorting those two stats I have difficulties to appraise

I'm curious- I don't understand what it is you're trying to do. I lack context maybe- I don't know what the terms after the rank numbers are from or supposed to tie to. And I don't know how you're deciding what ability to tie to the words. When I looked at this, I see Worker and say, well...

Reaper Bones 6 - Tales from the Green Griffin

I painted that pig too. Perfect example of a reaper mini that I just love.

Reaper Bones 6 - Tales from the Green Griffin

One thing I like is having choices of styles. For example, I don’t really like the WizKids bugbears, but I love the reaper ones. On the other hand, I love the WizKids umber hulk. But in the end, reaper kick starters are such a good way to kickstart a collection…

Reaper Bones 6 - Tales from the Green Griffin

Yeah I back 4 and 5. I feel like the 5 minis were exceptional. I’ve still got a lot to paint, but I’ve made great progress. I’m likely going to back 6 as well. It’s just too good a deal for me to pass up. Also, agree that Bobby Jackson sculpts are just … wow. Dang it- I might be a Reaper...

Could We Have Four Million Dollar Kickstarters In The Next Month?

The reaper bones 6 kickstarter is already at like $950,000. I know that’s not technically an RPG kickstarter, but it’s awfully adjacent. :)

life is unpredictable. Eat your desert first. And invest in what you love. If it's little plastic beasties.... so be it!

I'm never going to get tired of this song. I un-ironically love it.

D&D 5E (2014) Well, it looks like I've bought the gift set

I thought the covers looked gorgeous, but I already have the original alt cover of Tasha's and Xanathar's both. I can't justify over $100 for 3 new alt covers. I'll just wait for the single new book to be released stand alone. Then I can look at it in a store and see if it's something I want...

RPG Print News – WizKids, Mongoose, and More

My guess was like those old 1980's cards from cracker jacks or something where the image changes based on the angle you view it from. So to see the animation, you'd kind of tilt the card side to side.

D&D General Real Life Isle of Dread?

For a second I thought you lived in the Pacific Northwest with me. (I kid, I love it here. But definitely feels more dystopian by the day.)

    White Dwarf Reflections #6

I suppose most reading this already know, but just in case- the author of the Fiend Factory article mention above, Don Turnbull, wrote the Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh and edited Fiend Folio. Definitely an accomplished fellow :)

D&D General Dark Sun Nostalgia Thread [+]

I stared at the ads for it with deep longing, but my PC wasn't up to the task (386sx 1MB RAM, 40MB HDD). You can read a fun review of the game on pg 124 here: https://www.cgwmuseum.org/galleries/issues/cgw_113.pdf
