Playing in the Blank Spaces of the System

There's not enough enough space in the blank space of the book for a battle map, that's silly. :p

    Eat The Monsters--Literally--With Gummyquest

Vegan gummies would be much more solid than gelatine gummy.

D&D General Has anyone played in a group where everyone was a member of the same species? (+)

My group loves Dwarves and we've done dwarf only games at least twice. One in 4e and one in 5e (4e Dwarves were better >.>). They also did a Halfling only game.

    Eat The Monsters--Literally--With Gummyquest

I find it hard to believe they would look this consistent from one batch to the next. Those don't look gummy at all.

D&D General 6 Core Classes: You are in charge

Oh that's really easy: STR: Fighter (Includes the Barbarian) CON: Warden (Bring back the Primal warrior of 4e! Has a subclass that gets utility wild shapes) DEX: Skirmisher (combines the martial Ranger, Rogue and Monk into a single agile class) INT: Warlord WIS: Cleric (Can go Invoker or...

D&D General One thing I hate about the Sorcerer

I can see why that would be a concern. But if it uses CON then it's basically being built off of everybody's secondary stat, maybe even tiertiary, and that means no more perfect synergy with the other CHA classes. You could also build the MC benefits around this universality. Yeah! Especially...

D&D General One thing I hate about the Sorcerer

they should have made their casting stat Constitution. Not only making them sturdier, but also making them the easiest class to MC, something that I feel makes sense if anybody can suddenly manifest a sorcerous origin. Going full sorcerer would represent actually investing time to develop your...

What about Star Trek? Lots of uniforms to choose from!

Spoilers So, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire? [spoiler thread]

Not all ghosts are actual people, though, they’re mostly psychokinetic manifestations and echoes. Slimer was never an actual guy, for exemple. They actually go into the containment unit in one of the Real Ghostbusters episodes, the one where they accidentally catch the ghosts of Christmas Past...

Ben Riggs: 'The Golden Age of TTRPGs is Dead'

Netflix was great when it was the only game in town, but then executives wanted their share of the pie and started creating more and more services and now streaming sucks like the thing it was trying to replace. 5e was the big guy in town, and evrything was exciting, but some executive(s) just...

Spoilers So, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire? [spoiler thread]

They should never had waited for Murray to do a third one... It'd be easy to write Venkman as being off somewhere. Yeah, Ray as the 'Lorekeeper', the guy who knows old books, works perfectly fine. He doesn't need to put on a proton pack or anything, just be an expert you can consult. They...

Spoilers So, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire? [spoiler thread]

Went to see it yesterday and I had a good time, but I can totally get why critics wouldn’t like it. It’s like a big budget episode of The Real Ghostbusters and that was all I ever really wanted… Heck, it almost feels like a pilot movie for a ‘Ghostbusters the Next Generation’ tv series, and I...

Marvel Animation's X-Men '97 | Official Clip 'Fighting The Sentinels'

Honestly, the animation is TOO good, it doesn’t fit the old show. I’m also not a fan of the coloring style. Needs more aggressive contrasts and deeper shadows.

Twelve trees and green suns; refrences to a real world mythology?

Well, in certain variation of the story, the Knights of the Round Table were 12 until Galahad arrived as the 13th member and everything unravelled after that moment, despite the 13th member himself not being responsible for any of it. Might even be a prophecy in there somewhere. Maybe the 12...

    Trailer The Wild Robot trailer

Makes sense for a book, but I think with a movie you could pull it off silent. You just need to trust the skills of your animators.

has anyone seen any good non-headline movies?

I went with my dad and his girlfriend, since we had movie theatre plans that fell through last Father's Day, and all three of us enjoyed it greatly. It is quite silly and over the top and charming. Don't look up anything about it.
