Traveller has Pirates of Drinax and is about to release the 2nd and 3rd parts of The Ancients campaign (a prequel and sequel to Secrets of the Ancients).

Actually the cost of the boxed set is only $40 plus the level 0 adventure for an extra $7. That looks a little more reasonable (we’ll, if you’re in the US, which I’m not).

That price for Dying Earth looks wrong (that is, very very expensive) especially for something that doesn’t even include any sort of intro adventure.

A bit too soon to judge. There’s never been a $1M Kickstarter in January or February and a three month gap is hardly unusual.

Ran the quickstart adventure at CON-tingency last month. Went very well. Lived up to the "mirth and mayhem" philosophy. The only thing I'd say if running the quickstart, get the demon roll (ie fumbles) tables from the beta rules otherwise demon rolls are a bit of an anti-climax.

The free adventure is called Stranded, but the classic Traveller adventure it is inspired by is called Marooned.

I’d add to the CoC point you made, that as well as the rule changes being solid, they are also backwards compatible so it’s easy to run a 1st edition scenario using 7th edition rules. In general, the BRP system has held up well - Runequest too.

Pendragon 6e the link is to the first post from Chaosium discussing the design. It’s the only place I could find official confirmation that there is going to be a 6e. The official Chaosium page about the game is still understandably focussing on the current 5.2 edition of the game.
