    D&D 3.x 3.5 Errata Reporting

Monster Manual: The sample Green Dragon has Nystul's Undetectable Aura among his spells. This spell has been removed in ed. 3.5, it should be replaced by Nystul's Magical Aura.

    Epic Spells....huhwhat????

:D LOL! Seems to be some sort of Manhattan Project for D&D "nuke" developement. Hm, I wonder if there would be an upgrade / erratum / whatsoever for epic spells. The recent version is more or less crap, IMO.

    I attack his ring!?

Hmm, I don't remember the exact situation why our rogue has lost some of his items. Maybe he rolled a 1 on his save (and each open worn item is affected and has to save separately) or the acid pool was treated like a gray ooze: The pool's damage wasn't 40 points per round but enough to...

    Current/Near Future Campaigns

Most campaigns took place in Faerûn. But there were a few expeditions with the same party to other worlds (Krynn, Greyhawk, Ravenloft and a homebrewed world).

    Price this item (funny)

I think the 25% idea is quite good. The value of the codpiece would be then 5^2 x 1000 = 25.000. Divided by 4 we get 6250 GP. Hmm, still a bit high, but OTOH it has no specific weight and does not occupy an item place (similar to ioun stones), unless more codpieces appear in our game ;)

    Price this item (funny)

Hmmm, why not? It would look REALLY cool on our female asimaar paladin :D  Thanks for the comments! :)

    Price this item (funny)

It's an unnamed bonus, so: yes it stacks with normal armor. My fault: the word is codpiece (in german: Hosenlatz)

    Price this item (funny)

Hi folks, I've created this item in my last adventure but I'm not sure about the price. OK, here it is: Golden Cod Piece, +5 bonus on AC vs. Sneak Attacks. Anyone remembers Baldur's Gate I? ;) A member of our party wears the Silver Shirt which gives a +5 armor bonus (it is treated as a...

    D&D 3.x [3.5] How is Shapechange balanced?

Hm, maybe, but not so many. IIRC, only spells with personal range (like Shapechange) or fixed range (like Detect Magic) can be made persistent. Oh, well, then go with persistent spell ...:D

    D&D 3.x [3.5] How is Shapechange balanced?

;) Nope, not really. BTW, to make a spell persistent, it moves up four levels... At level 27 (to use my example), an extended Shapechange (a level 10 spell) will last 9 hours. Let the druid cast it three times and you'll have the same effect as if using persistent spell. Use extend spell three...

    D&D 3.x [3.5] How is Shapechange balanced?

I agree. But some people are using THE TRICK because the wording of Greater Wildshape is not clear when GWS is based on Wild Shape. IMC, we've house ruled the shifter: No forms with more HD than the shifter PC has. No feats are gained. Extraordinary abilities, senses, natural armor, racial boni...

What is your current campaign like?

Name: Lord of the Iron Fortress Setting: Tethyr, Forgotten Realms, autumn 1369 DR Level: 16 PCs: - Siegbert von Öxfeld - human Paladin 14 / Cleric 2 of Helm. More or less the leader of the party. Not always happy about the druid and his use of spells... - Alvin Doublethorne - half elf Fighter...

    Gaaah! Can't Wait! [whine]

I've heard something about July 18th being the day of 3.5 release...(it was mentioned somewhere on the boards). *sigh* still three weeks to go...:(

    Bardic Rant

Ok, the bard has been compared to the other core classes regarding combat, saves, skills, feats and spells. As Sejs pointed out, the bard is on par with most (not all!) PHB classes regarding the feats. But what about the special abilities? Bardic Knowledge: Gained at first level. Bardic Songs...

    Bardic Rant

We've house ruled the bard to be both a specialist in singing (with a lot more of bardic songs than those few in the PHB) and charming / enchanting people and monsters. Plus he is good in knowledge related skills and the only one who has Perform (splitted in several subtypes) as a class skill...

[3.5] Bard Spell list Changes Summary

Well, the bard in the Asterix comics can change weather simply by singing some horrid song ;)

    Virtual feat and PrC

Hi, a simple question, but in my group, we're not sure about the answer. My elven rogue / wizard wants to become an arcane archer. He meets all requirements except precise shot. He uses a +1 frost precise bow (so he has the precise shot feat when using the bow). Can he take the arcane archer...

To RoytheOdd, here's a thread for questions and answers

Thanks for the infos on 3.5, Shadowstar! Some questions (I hope it's no double post) from my side: 209: Are there changes to Fly? 210: Meteor Swarm, now a good level 9 spell? 211: Is Creeping Doom clearly worded? 212: Casting time for Firestorm still 1 round? Thanks!

    D&D 3.x 3.5 Druid (again)

I second that. Shifter PrC will get weak if the extraordinary abilities are to be removed from WS. WS will be house ruled in the group if Polymorph dumps it as it was the case in 3.0 PHB...
