I'm here too,
still listening for the alert bell and the response that it foretells, as my excitement swells and the game again compels us to return to Fitz's game, pushing through both ice and flame, for the sake of joy and fame...
I agree that having a couple of cameos and no pay off is naff so I'm really hoping that Susan plays a bigger role next season with Billy Piper. Thats one reason why I'm hoping that Anita mentioning that her boss said hello is a reference to Susan - and the Time Hotel might show up again.
and...
I could see something like the Dolgaunt as a PC option - humanoid but grotesque, with sleek grey skin stretched too tightly over elongated limbs. Its humanoid arms joined by a coiling pair of long, boneless tentacles. Where eyes and a nose should be, there are only sunken folds of skin, its...
1 Poppy was the daughter of John Smith and Belinda due to Conrads wish
2 After Wish World Belinda told the Doctor she would stay with her daughter Poppy because Poppy was real
3 After Poppy disappeared Belinda asked the Doctor to get her back
4 The Doctor gets her back and at the end Belinda...
Could Rose be the Tardis itself manifesting rather than the 'New Doctor'?
iirc Rose was the last person to hold the Power of the Tardis inside herself, maybe the Doctor pushing regeneration energy via the Heart of the Tardis gave it the boost to generate itself
Its not a trilogy but the third book Les Enfants du Capitaine Grant (In Search of the Castaways) is linked by having shared characters with Mysterious Island. Some people thus consider them a set
Is that Billie Piper?
I did enjoy this finale, it explained things satisfactorily including the Bone beast.
I didnt like the giant skeleton design of Omega, was hoping theyd give a nod to his old armoured form.
Good to see Anita back and the companions teaming up. Really want to know who her...
Yeah, I didnt like that part either, it did diminish Nemos role as genius science hero
In the show Nemo is credited with designing the engines, but its built by 'the Company' (via prison labour) using iirc a french design.
I agree Elan and Maenads should just be rolled in to human with a psionics feat, theres nothing notable about them. Same as Xeph and Gith. Kalashtar and Synads at least have a bit more of the alien vibe about them
So Improved Dromites, Shardmind and an Abberation race for the win:)
Werent Svirfneblin psionic abilities in 2e? - blur and nondetection are their standard powers iirc
I do like deep gnomes being more bug-eyed and alien looking than standard gnomes, most of the depictions in the past have been to cutesy for my liking.
I imagined Dromites as PC Formians in one short adventure, they work in that form. Maybe they could do a few subtypes - Formian, Abeil, ?.
In 3.5 Dromites had a +1 level adjustment which sucked and thus made them less popular than the Human options of Elan and Maenad. Nonetheless Dromites had...
I've started a few new campaigns in town/village during a festival or feast day, PCs get to compete in games, attend the markets and witness the Holy Rituals and inevitably get caught up in a new adventure. I anchor my festivals around the the Solstices/Equinox then Spring Flower, Mid Summer...
The Blue goblin image used is 3e always looked Bugbear to me, and I'm willing to guess that other goblinoids are afflicted HOWEVER it also says that most blues are smaller (3ft) and weaker than goblins and most are killed young. So Id be willing to accept bugbear blues but they would be...
Yeah, second* thing I thought of when reading about stress was using it as a defiling mechanic. Clearing stress but exchanging for Fear (thus letting the GM brining in elemental complications) makes sense to me
* the first thing was stress = fatigue/exhaustion and how that might playout
wow I hadnt associated Synads with Tiraphegs before you raised it here and the connection between them is compelling - are Tiraphegs what happens when Synads fail to achieve harmony between their tripartite minds, does the collapse of the three cause the whole creature to twist into a mad...
