I've never actually played a Final Fantasy game (have played a couple of Dragon Quest games though), but am always at least interested in a game with Japanese flavor. Wonder how this one compares to Fabula Ultima?
The weirder thing? I never heard of pumpkin pie spice. I only hear of it being called pumpkin spice.
Can you tell I don't eat much sweets or drink coffee?
Though not Pirate Borg, DriveThru is having a pirate theme sale this week. Saw one Mork Borg related title there, but maybe some of the other stuff can be mined for ideas?
Not me. I don't even really know who he is. I'm on the Loot Tavern Discord and they have been teasing it for a short while before they mentioned that guy being involved. I'm interested in the themes.
Been a comic reader since the 70s but haven't really played a comic book super hero ttrpg yet. Interested to see what people like (I like things on the less complex side). Drive-Thru is having a sale on super titles this week too…
I was waiting for this one to launch. I am not 100% in synch with all the ideas, but backed it. Always looking for some Asian flavor. The taming and crafting stuff is also in some of Loot Tavern's other products (that I also backed).
WEG Star Wars was my favorite. It was really fun.
I've always wanted to try TMNT, but never got around to it. Don't know if it was good, but it looked fun too. I owned Ghostbusters, but did not play that either.
My first thought is Star Wars. I tried reading the Fantasy Flight version and just couldn't get into it.
I did like D6 a lot back in the day, not sure how I'd feel about a new version of it though.
I'm sure there are a lot more reasons but…
Some of it is nostalgia/familiarity. It is the first TTRPG I ever encountered. I remember opening up the books and being captivated by the heroes, monsters, and world.
I do like that it is kind of weird and silly. I'm not that much into grim and grit...
