    nevermind

yes but you are now running a VM and the old OS on the phone. This will murder the battery and slow whole thing down. It would still need a dedicated interpretation layer. Notting gained here. Might as well re-write the UI

D&D General My nephew really loves Dungeons and Dragons

If he is interested in running the game the new DMG is very good for new DMs in my opinion. If he has the core books and is interested in running the game a copy of the "return of the Lazy Dungeon Master". If he does not have any core books then yes the PHB.

D&D 5E (2014) The 2024 Ranger is Actually Pretty Good (with numbers)

It is an interesting thread, but to be fair to Treantmonk I do not think he was going for maximum damage builds but trying to provide a feel for the space under the new rules and he did a very good job. Just as @Lord Twig shows us that the TWF Beast master can out damage the subclass build...

D&D General Elon Musk Wants To Know 'How Much Is Hasbro?'

EnWorld is UK and I think that lawfare is harder in the UK.

D&D General Matt Colville: "50 years later we're still arguing about what D&D even is!"

It is not a module, if it is mostly a lore dump or there to showcase an NPC, especially if it encourages the DM to fool the players that their characters might have agency and then just pull that agency away to NPCs.

Hasbro Stock Price Surges After Elon Musk Makes Comments About Purchasing Company

There is no situation, no matter how bad cannot be made seem infinitely if looked at the correct way.

D&D General Matt Colville: "50 years later we're still arguing about what D&D even is!"

Because it is actually bad, false advertising at best. If one is buying what one thought is an adventure module but it is really a lore dump and the key plot event are all in the hands of NPCs then it would be better as a novel or a lore book with all the adventure bits stripped out and much...

D&D General Elon Musk Wants To Know 'How Much Is Hasbro?'

While a magic returns apocalypse is probably one of the least bad apocalypses, it is still an apocalypse and while it appears that Ireland is about one third elf (so I would have a reasonable shot at it) I am not sure I would fancy the government returning to a form of pre–Tudor Anglo-Gaelic...

D&D General Matt Colville: "50 years later we're still arguing about what D&D even is!"

I only read it because I was wondering what Vecna themed stuff was out there that could be recycled into low level adventures to lead up to Venca Eve of Run. I was astonished by it. In all the key boss fights the pcs have no agency.

D&D General Matt Colville: "50 years later we're still arguing about what D&D even is!"

Vecna Lives and the follow up ones were not as bad but still had stuff being done by NPCs with little input or impact by the PCs.

D&D General Elon Musk Wants To Know 'How Much Is Hasbro?'

I honestly do not see that one lasting and the fallout could be spectacular.

WotC Some Rich Dude Calls for Wizards of the Coast to "Burn in Hell" and I Refuse to Care

I do not believe this, this is post purchase spin. As far as I can tell; twitter was bought because he could not back down from a boast on twitter (or rather he tried to back down after the contracts were signed) and he based the price off a meme. If anyone is being socially engineered by his...

D&D General Elon Musk Wants To Know 'How Much Is Hasbro?'

You gotta remember what Hasbro does is not out of active malice but driven by whatever is currently grabbing the attention of investors on Wall Street and by the consequence of previous Hasbro moves (i.e. the corporate debt).

D&D General The Human Side of D&D History - From Gary Gygax to Temple of Elemental Evil

Back at the turn of the millennium Ireland was rocked by a whole slew of sex scandals involving members of the clergy and one of the things that struck me then and in subsequent conversations, is that this would never have got to the point it did if people did their duty by the law and spoke the...

If he bid high enough, I am sure investors will sell.
