    D&D 5E (2014) How does one publish an adventure/quest?

Wizards don't officially endorse fan works (there is no 5E open license) but neither do they seek to actively quash them. The most likely scenario is that you'll write up your adventure, throw it on your blog or whatever, and Wizards won't even know you exist. If you want to try and make money...

    D&D 5E (2014) Huh... I've reviewed over 50 adventures for 5E!

That page is essential reference for me, Merric.

    D&D 5E (2014) Ravenloft: Is it likely to get a 5e re-VAMP?

I think we are likely to see a gothic-horror-themed story and the usual 5E mega-adventure, but not a campaign setting per-se. Honestly, if you have earlier Ravenloft materials, you have everything you need to play in that setting right now.

OUT OF THE ABYSS Trends At 82%

You can't be certain, but people who are using their review as a soap-box for issues they have had with the preview material, or who are simply parroting the prevailing narrative (positive or negative), tend to stand out. Those who genuinely want to contribute a helpful review to the community...

    Yes, most irritating.

D&D 5E (2014) Artist Mike Schley running a sale on all digital artwork (including adventure maps)

If we got the low-res maps for free, people would still be on here complaining that we don't get the high-res ones, or free scale printed laminated versions of them delivered into our hands upon release. In this instance, WotC are choosing to support the artist over their own customers. I...

Last Stand - Revising Death Saves

I like your ideas, but in the general case I don't agree that DST's are passive or unexciting. They encourage the party to think as a unit. Assuming you *ever* have your monsters attack unconscious PC's, the sight of their comrades dropping to zero forces a palpable change of strategy from the...

D&D 5E (2014) Thoughts on the D&D Starter Set (Spoilers!)

I had the opposite experience to S'mon. :) Presented as a town in decline and, more importantly, as a rich quest hub, the players connected to Phandalin as quickly as the NPC's connected with their characters. The underlying Redbrand threat emerged through a couple of they-write-themselves...

D&D 5E (2014) [Poll] How does your group do hit points per level?

Rounding down is the D&D "way", though. Rounding up would be the exception.

D&D 5E (2014) [Poll] How does your group do hit points per level?

I've just been in too many games where Hit Point disparities really hurt the table experience. I love randomness, just *love* it, but bad luck you have to live with for the entire life of your PC can be a real drag.

D&D 5E (2014) [Poll] How does your group do hit points per level?

We roll Hit Points with a minimum of half the die value guaranteed. Gives us a little bit of both worlds.

Rage of Demons: "D&D On Hard Mode"

PF fans have deep wallets and massive loyalty. They will open their wallets for a 2.0. I'm sure the core will be a big hit. As Paizo churns out the support material, though...

FORBES: Out of the Abyss preview

He did, it was called "Hellboy 2". :) Fey prince on the ascension. Terrible army in slumber, waiting to be awakened. Team of miscreants, saving the world. From the moment I stepped out of the cinema, I thought I'd just watched a great D&D movie.

    D&D 5E (2014) 5e Rakshasa weak?

It did seem to go down pretty easily, even with a Shield Guardian. In the end the fight was more about not letting it get away.
