So I skipped through a lot of the talking. Who was running the gold dragon? The red I think indicates DM control, but the players seemed to be directing it? Also, was this about dragon love?

Also, unlike the 4e 3d VTT, at no point in the demo did it crash. (Someone had to say it, well maybe they didn’t, but it is true!)

Did we see an area attack spell? There is a breath weapon with lots of dice and it does seem to hit several targets, with damage indicated for each.

Yes there is some rules adjudication built in. But right now I still have more questions then answers.

it certainly has! They have fixed a lot of little things, but also made choices regarding aesthetics, complexity, and all around fiddlyness that I do not love. I will still give it a try. But 5ever may only last so long.

I like it, it cleanly presents the dragon and gives it some interesting options. But speaking of CR, what does it mean in a case like this? 4 characters of what level would find this challenge? I think they would be lower than 20.

A CoC gm running 4e, maybe not a perfect match. But there were also core flaws with 4es math and assumptions that could make combat too grindy, and those of us that stuck with it had to find ways to deal. Out of combat, you also needed rituals, and to push for the same stuff that you would have...
