Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I am all aboard making that vol 3 (or 4 if we need an AD&D one)!

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I really want a book in 2027 (or so) that follows up the recent OD&D history book and includes full reprints of Holmes and Moldvay Basics, Cook Expert, and maybe B1, B2, and X1. I would settle for a hardcover book that was just a reprint of Moldvay Basic and Cook Expert.

D&D Historian Benn Riggs On Gary Gygax & Sexism

I preordered mine (there was a part refund from Amazon later, so it was only about $90, which is what I think they are charging for it now). Given the size, it feels like it compares very well price wise to both ttrpg books and comic reprint books.

RE: "Focused on". In terms of the book it was a few paragraphs in the introduction, and somewhat like the disclaimer on cartoon DVDs with an example given? It strikes me as strange to try read into a company celebrating an anniversary by wanting to focus on the start of the game - especially...

My guess is that it is literally the only thing listed as a dragon to do with chaos in whatever myth book he was using*. (If someone knows which one, please don't tell me for another week - I have work to catch up on instead of library diving). I am guessing the original was never portrayed as...

D&D Historian Benn Riggs On Gary Gygax & Sexism

If I'm trying to avoid work and am pondering things like this, I sometimes try to imagine what percentile of badness I would put them at relative to their contemporaries. I generally put active policy making pushers of bad things as the worst. The discussion on EGG above covers a wide range...

If enough voters cared we could easily have laws about production of those necessities by monopolies and ensuring they were more ethical. :-/

Just to double check, responding with a laugh emoji to be dismissive and deride the poster is a bad thing, right? Discretion might be the better part of valor, but it isn't always as immediately fulfilling.

Just the other day my FB memories had a quote I think was from someone o ENWorld. Something like: "Sometimes clouds need to be yelled at!"

Kind of disappointed that adding context to statue signage might not help... https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/why-just-adding-context-controversial-monument-may-not-change-minds-180976583/ ... but I've been happy that our University is at least trying to add some new plaques in various...

Stay at home spouse vs. tradwife ? (Using the word choices in the posts above. If it's always a stay-at-home wife while a husband works, and vice-versa is unthinkable regardless of what kind of job each could get outside of the house or what they want, then the difference feels smaller to...
