    Having class abilities that are overshadowed by lv1 spells/magic items is just embarrassing. If monster HP goes up at 3e rates, oh boy, so much for combat effectiveness, too (since you're still punching them one at a time, while Wizard yawns and goes save-or-suck or Wall of Stones himself a keep).

    Problem with making Jumping as its own thing is that this is a game where eventually, everyone will fly. And there's a lot of athletic tasks that use both upper and lower body strength - you're not hanging on that wall through just your arms, I would hope. :p

    You could just let the players choose what they want, and run a 4th pregen as an NPC. That way the combat challenge should be as intended, and if no-one wanted to play a Cleric, then they still get a healbot along.

    I think History could be argued to cover the present situations, not just stuff that happened 100 years ago that no-one cares about. Perhaps it should be renamed Culture, or something, but history is the focus because of dungeon-delving, I guess.
