There is no rule explicitly against it, it isn't OP, and its clever thinking by the player. I'd allow it.

It amazes me that people can get so angry about the world becoming slightly less bigoted. It really threatens them.

Not loyal, but invested. I have bought so much of their stuff that it is easier to keep playing D&D than buy and learn new systems. Especially since I am with a group that really enjoy D&D.

I'd agree. D&D doesn't do most tones as well as game systems designed for those tones. But it is an easy system to learn and to bend to almost any tone you want.

Don't forget horror. All sorts of options from gothic to cthuluesque.
