Whether or not it's referred to as "ECL", DMG page 22 has info on equivilent character level for playing various monsters. This is the info I was hoping to find errated as per the guidelines in FRCS, but it wasn't. It'll be cleared up in revision one way or the other, I'm sure.

Thanks for the link Zenon. I'm pretty FR ignorant, so I hadn't ever bothered to download that errata. I wonder why they made these changes to FR and not to the DMG?

Off-topic question Why do you have +7ECL for centaur? DMG page 22 has it as "Class levels + 5". A player in my campaign just made a centaur fighter last night. I told him he could make a 6th level character, and he went with a 1st level centaur fighter.
