Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.2 Is Officially Live

Cause they want incentives for you to buy their books. Giving away most everything is nice, but it's still a good idea to hold some cards to attract people into buying your book.

Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.2 Is Officially Live

Yeah this is more or less my view as well.

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Announces April 22 Release For 2024 System Reference Documents

Why not make something more original instead of downgrading. You don’t even need the new SRD for your idea. Also would prefer to keep things compatible with Wizards stuff cause I actually want new D&D stuff. Cutting them out is counterintuitive.

Dragon Delves Reveals "History Of" Pages for Dragons

Should point out that they are all getting more than 2 pages. The ToC shows the break down, but the Red Dragon is page 99 to 103 for example, so it gets four pages.

D&D General What races/species populate your DnD world?

I just assume everything exists cause I see no reason to restrict myself.

WotC Chris Perkins announces Retirement from Dungeons and Dragons

This still is not a super solid source.

D&D General How much do you care about rule change specifics?

No clue what the player levels are so no way to judge that.

D&D General [rant]The conservatism of D&D fans is exhausting.

Conservatism: "commitment to traditional values and ideas with opposition to change or innovation." I have to wonder what materialist philosophies have altered the game, or how it's blander. Like I am serious the game has changed much less than you think.

D&D General How much do you care about rule change specifics?

Have you been using the new encounter guidelines and monsters?

WotC Would you buy WotC products produced or enhanced with AI?

Then no, nothing they currently release for D&D is acceptable to use AI in.

WotC Would you buy WotC products produced or enhanced with AI?

It very much depends on it's nature. Like I am not going to accept a book either written by AI or with it's art done by AI, basically a book is not something AI related I would get. Like the most acceptable thing is maybe a random map generator using some tilesets, or something that helps build...

D&D General How much do you care about rule change specifics?

And given that the books are selling well, the majority of players seem to like it anyway.

D&D General How much do you care about rule change specifics?

Yes they could. But that wasn’t my point.

D&D General How much do you care about rule change specifics?

Well it seems odd to complain about 2024 stuff with an option not even made for it.

D&D books are not made with Chinese materials as far as I know.

D&D General How much do you care about rule change specifics?

I am not sure what you mean by RAW for multiclassing. Like 2014 multiclassing was also RAW cause that just means rules as written. Like there is no fundamental change in the nature of multiclassing between 2014 and 2024. Also Rune Knight is not even a 2024 option it’s a 2014 one. The number of...

Jeremy Crawford Also Leaving D&D Team Later This Month

Yes they will release adventures and supplements, like the upcoming Eberron Book, and the FR books. Those will add to the game, but they are in nature no different than stuff that has come in the past. Yet some people try and make it sound like completely alien stuff to the game like loot boxes...

Jeremy Crawford Also Leaving D&D Team Later This Month

Also seriously what would suddenly change? The new Corebooks are out nothing will change that, and we know they are doing well in sales. So what do you guys seriously think will happen?
