I wonder if they are releasing the full version that will be included in the Infinite Staircase or a truncated version (like only the upper caves). Single session does seem short, but it could be more of an old-school (6-hour+) session, equating to 2-3 VTT sessions today.

Great video. While I heard about the influence Avalon Hill's Outdoor Survival had on the game before, I didn't realize the connection to both Hit Points and Random Encounters were from that game. Very cool.
